ATLANTIS. GATEROOM EXTERNAL BALCONY. Elizabeth is standing gazing out over the ocean. John comes out to join her.

SHEPPARD: We got the drones, we got a few Jumpers; I even got the girl.

WEIR: You got the girl?!

SHEPPARD: Well, I mean I could have got the girl. I turned her down.

(Elizabeth smiles.)

WEIR: What did you offer them in return for the drones and the Jumpers?

SHEPPARD: A supply of medicines and an I.D.C. if they need to reach us. We also offered to help 'em come up with a new way of running things when the time comes.

WEIR: They didn't offer you King?!

(John looks at her.)

SHEPPARD: I turned that down too!

(Elizabeth smiles at him for a moment, then they both look out over the ocean.)

I've just considered within that smile, the spokes of sweet revenge were already turning. Is it odd to anyone else that in the next epp- TLG- Elizabeth (whether truly her will or not) encourages John to grant Phoebus' favor and then tries to inflict major bodily harm? *rubschin*

I always thought John was being super flirty there. Why tell Elizabeth about "getting the girl" unless he was trying to make her jealous or something. I suppose if we take the "anti" view of things, he was telling her that he can get young girls, so obviously he doesn't want his old boss.

I did, didn't I? I sort of scared myself there.



Oh, come on, this is easy. It's obvious that he wanted the Replicator nanites to be saved because he wanted to learn how to replicate Niam's hair. I think he had total Niam hair envy.

If he let that woman die, then the replicators would have died with her and he'd never get his chance to re-replicate Niam's hair. Spaced Niam would have frozen hair which John knew would just never do for a working model. He needed those replicators.

My thought was about Kolya. John figured Elizabeth was hallucinating about Kolya, and darnit, he's the only one allowed to hallucinate about John's man!

That is a very dirty looking pic! It's as good as the one from Duet that SR has in a motivation picture, where he's licking his lips while looking at her chest.

I was watching Letters from Pegasus last night, and I noticed in the beginning scene when John and Elizabeth are talking about sending the message to Earth that when John says "even if it's the last thing we do" that he looks down to Elizabeth's mouth when he says it. So, thinking about the end of the world gets you thinking about Lizzie's lips, huh?

Oh, and he carried her to the infirmary in Echoes because he was hoping to hit her head against some door frames a few times. Easy way to get rid of her.

Too bad there were so many people around or he could have just dumped her off a balcony. Plus I'm sure smelling her cheap perfume all that way must have made him nauseated and dizzy. It's a wonder he didn't pass out himself. In fact, since he just stiffens up every time she gets close to him, I'm surprised he was able to man up and pick her up like that. Rodney probably told him to do it and he didn't know how to refuse.
