And, we've segued into Monty Python references. Heh, coconut hooves. LOL

Snurched some new video, hoping that Windows Movie Maker will let me use it ... and I may have my video done by the end of the week!

Also, "Everybody's Fine", "Of Detectives and Doctors", and "On The Other Side" should each be updated by this weekend. If nothing disastrous happens. And if you all send me Chipotle gift cards. AND some chocolate cake.

Oh, we overthrew TPTW a long time ago. We've just left them languishing in the dungeon for a while so we could take our time in coming up with suitable punishments for them. How else do you think we're gonna make Atlantis Rising? LOL!

I guess since SG-1 was so big into the Wizard of Oz and they did a lot of Princess Bride on SGA, they didn't want to get into another movie franchise. Beside, PB is more romantic. Which also makes me wonder why they chose that particular one to reference. Yet never had John say "as you wish" to Elizabeth. Oh wait, I can answer that. It would have been too shippy for TPTB.

I have one more question on my meme-list that is as of yet unanswered... which I shall rectify in a second...

Day 31: How it should have ended

I didn't like the way it ended - it being the show in this case.
There was so much potential. Atlantis had so much potential, build up so much potential, an untapped source of marvelous discoveries and/or tales... but it was all wasted. Well, most of it anyway. It's like they didn't even try. *sigh*

It shouldn't have ended the way it did and thus I firmly believe that the only it could have ended on a high note, would be if First Strike-Adrift-Lifeline had played out differently. If they hadn't written Rachel's real life pregnancy into the show. If they had taken away from McKay and given some of his meaty stories to other characters - I would have loved to have seen The Shrine happen to maybe Ronon or Teyla, or even John. Or someone of the secondary cast...

And IF it did have to end somewhere... then I have to say that it should have been at the end of season 3... season 4 and 5 just don't cut it. And instead of the beam - we leave the Asurans alone and deal with them in some other fashion - like try to create a weapon that might actually destroy them like they eventually did in BAMSR.

One thing? Just one? LOL Keep Elizabeth, of course. Bring her back early in S4, start a whole new arc for her but not have her be in charge again. As a result, she wouldn't be John's boss.

Day the Second: Your favorite episode
Aw, do I have to pick just one? Well, I'm going to pick two, so there! "The Storm"/"The Eye" - While there were a few little hints in earlier episodes, this two-part episode is what really cemented Sparky for me (and others here as well), and for many good reasons. A risky situation made even more dire by treachery from an ally and a surprise raid led by the man who would become Sheppard's arch-nemesis over the first three seasons, Elizabeth in peril, John snapping and going Rambo on Kolya's men when Kolya claims that he's killed Elizabeth, soaking wet John… *blissful sigh* Non-stop action, suspense, and a hint of romance. Because really, what guy goes Rambo to avenge someone who's supposedly just "the boss?" Unless, of course, he thinks of that woman as more than just his boss. Honestly, I still think Storm/Eye should've been the Season 1-2 finale/premiere rather than "The Siege."
