        Flowerbud is going to be there on Sat. We're trying to arrange to meet but I fear my PM to her was mostly incoherent. At least Mr. SR will have help to resuscitate me calm me down. She'll be the first person from fandom I've met.

              I doubt we'll get more time with him. It will just be earlier. I'm sure he'll have to leave right after his autograph session which is scheduled for 2pm. Then Flowerbud and I plan to squee while Mr. SR holds all our purses and my big orange and yellow bag. Then he's going to buy us a drink.

              I barely slept last night and when I did I dreamed I was wandering through a huge house and people kept slamming doors in my face. LOL

                  Welcome Fergus!

                  I was out and about alone for the first time today. So exciting. Nobody at restaurants speaks English, though, that makes everything VERY complicated. Not even stuff like potato and they didn't understand when I got out the dictionary and said it in Japanese. Maybe I should have tried German or French? I got a really big shrimp though, for which I unfortunately required instructions.
                  How to make this about Sparky? I'm sure someone can come up with a John and Elizabeth eat native food without being able to ask what they are eating!

                    Considering they are in another galaxy, the subject of strange food should have come up more often. All we got was some weird looking fruit or whatever that was on the Travelers' ship. And some of the stuff served in the cafeteria would not have survived 3 weeks on the Daedalus...like salad and oranges. Please. Were we to assume the Athosians were growing those?
