          Recommended reading! In the city and in the forest, by hihoplastic. I've been waiting for her to finish that fic for over a year and I can only say it's been worth the wait. It's VERY angsty, but trust me, you'll be glad you readi it.

            Not necessarily. Your ancestor must have actually served in the Army. I'm not sure any of mine did. The information said they "provided supplies to the Army". I'll have to do more reading but it's cool to know how long they've been here. Most people don't have any idea.

                          Heads up, Sparkies! The catalog for the first of two live auctions of Stargate props, costumes, set pieces, etc. is now available for preorder, and can also be viewed online and downloaded.

                          As suspected, the Sparky mint jar will be up for sale in this auction:

                          Lot 480
                          Weir's Urn
                          Urn introduced as a gift to Elizabeth Weir from John Sheppard in the Atlantis Season One episode, "Before I Sleep," later used to convey the ashes of an alternate version of herself on the winds of Lantea. The prop was seen throughout the next two seasons on Weir's desk. Urn is plastic with bronze decorative decals, and measures 5.25in with a 5.75in diameter.
                          $100-$200

                          Considering how much the incomplete urn without lid went for, I think that may be a conservative estimate.

                                *hugs* try to go to bed early, sweetie!! I know it's a lame advise, but sometimes it helps.

                                And that fic is absolutely brilliant!!!! Everyone should go read it, even if you don't watch Castle!!!
