I knew he was a Colonel, I just assumed he was the hero, but if he's the Sumner-esque guy, that's pretty cool! I want to see him push people around!

I'm betting he's both. I think he's going to be the one to keep the rest of them alive mostly and kill the monsters. And I saw Sumner as a hero. Just a typical Marine Colonel who didn't take crap.

Too bad there are not many (read: no one) sharing that like so there's little to no fic about these ladies. Ladies in general draw the short stick anyway.

I'm a big sci-fi, fantasy and horror reader too. I also like reading about ancient mythology(Sumarian/Mesopotamian, Indian, Egyptian, Greek, Norse, ect lol, I've got books on all that) I've got hundreds of books; more than 5 five shelf bookshelves stacked 2 deep worth. I can't bear to sell my books either especially the ones I've read multiple times, I love them too much.
I thought the nook was cuter than the kindle. Its in a white color and its got a touchscreen, music, games, wifi and its got expandable memory.(I bought a 8Gb micro Sd card from amazon for like $15 which basically gave it 4x more space) The prices were similar too. I think the battery lasts longer on the kindle though.

Can you blame her? She's been alone for 10,000 years... no physical contact for that long can do strange things to a person, I imagine.

I imagine it must feel similar to beig fic-deprived. It's not a good feeling.

I meant I thought Joe's character was going to be the main protagonist (cuz I naturally assume that Joe is always the main character.

). Hero in the character sense, not in terms of his military courage.

I liked Sumner, too--though I love Robert Patrick, even when he plays evil. It was great to see him in SGA. And they actually toned down his attitude to John if comparisons to the novelization, which were based off the early scripts, are any indication. He definitely died a hero.

Now I'm all confused. I think Joe is the lead. His name is listed first on the cast list so he's definitely the star. Which I think means he'll be both the main character and the hero.
