I was actually thinking of opening up registration. If people register through the website, they'll only be registered members and won't have author status so they wouldn't be able to change anything. But that way they can comment on the blogs because commenting on the blog only works if you're registered. I'm still trying to bypass that, but I'm afraid we'll be getting spammers if I open up commenting...

Of course if registration is open, then we'll loose the privilege of putting things online under registered status to try them out.

Any other thoughts on this?

You know I was thinking, since you guys said the sgarising eps are going to be released at irregular intervals, you should start an email list. Invite everyone who visits the site to leave their email addy for updates. That way you could email announcements when new eps are up.

Err... no one ever said that. I think you misread what I wrote.

We fully intend to release episodes on a regular basis; the exact schedule is yet to be determined, but as I said earlier, we want to have a good chunk of the episodes (probably at least the first half) finished and betaed before we begin posting them for public consumption. It's no different than how most-to-all of the episodes for each of Seasons 1-5 were finished before SyFy started airing them.

However, an email update list, or perhaps an RSS feed that readers can subscribe to, might be a good idea to look into.

Isn't yours electric? Mine has power wires. When I used to live in a very, very, very hot weather and didn't need warm water, it was just the pipe and the shower head.

My heater works on gas and it provides hot water and heat throughout the entire apartment, so it's nowhere close near the bathroom.

Yeah, let's hold off awhile until we have more to share. I don't want to get a bunch of negativity from those who might misunderstand our intent. Neither do I want a lot of questions yet about when the stories will be up.

This has certainly been educational about showers around the world. My whole house is electric. The hot water heater is in the basement and hot water goes through the pipes throughout the house. And I can't imagine anywhere being so hot you don't need hot water. How do you wash dishes?
