Nah, he was just mad that she was compromising the city and showing her usual bad leadership skillz. LOL

That was a joke in case anyone has to wonder.

I like the idea of finding Sparky in episodes that aren't usually thought of as Sparkyish. We need to start doing at least one each day. After all, they all have something. And the easy part is that Sparky is shown not talked about. So that makes it easy to spot.

I like the idea of doing one scene a day and then discussing it a bit - if we're currently not discussing S6. I'll do my best to do one this week, maybe Wednsday?

Oh, yes, her usual bad leadership skillz. And also, in this episode we can see that she also never has fun, always wears black and has overall a bland personality. John, of course, is uneasy about talking to her because she might make wrong conclusions from this. LOL.

Sometimes I wonder if we and some people I've seen around even watch the same show. I rewatched The Return and it struck me just how strong the bond between John and Elizabeth is, how often and how consistently they maintain eye contact, for example. Non verbal communication carries 90% of information, and sparky has it. It's there. It's consistent. You just can't dispute it, because it's on frakking screen where anyone can see.

Hey, there's a thought! Maybe we should combine this with my earlier thought of reviving the post-a-thon. We can watch one episode (or more, to keep multiparters together) on a chosen day, then spend the next day or so finding all the not-so-obvious Sparky moments.

I love how Elizabeth just kind of falls into the seat after John is resuscitated. You can just see the naked relief that he's going to be all right so she can check him out personally in private later.

She did it again in Conversion when they left to try to capture him. Teyla nodded at Elizabeth as if to promise to bring him back alive.

Right in this moment is 11:12 pm and I'm going to bed.
From Monday to Friday I'm available normally from 7:00 up to 10:00 pm and in weekends I have more time available (I'm a single, no husband, no children, only my 8 cats to take care of).

If I can get my wireless up and running I might be able to do after 9 PM ET. But no guarantees.

Hmmm. 5 seconds is a really, really long time in TV land. I'd say at least 2-3 seconds would count as a good long stare. The mega stare in Lifeline? Before Rodney interrupts them it caps off at 6 seconds total.
