I know. I think we've heard so much about this scene we just think we've seen it. LOL And I think Joe put the tissue in his pocket after Paul blew his nose. OMG! *dies*

But yeah, there is a lot of good stuff in this one. John is absolutely adorable with the cold and the raspy voice. Torri said she was going for the Galaxy Quest look. I think they may have even padded her bra a little bit. My favorite line is "keep away from the nuts". So much fun.

I don't know if it's worth the whole episode, because there are moments that are just...squicky. And yet, if you want to just ignore the plot and enjoy what the actors did, I suppose you could do that. Rodney is also very funny once he gets drugged up.

I also remember how mad John got when Lucious told him Elizabeth was off making him lunch.
Yes...I have a pictures of that scene! He goes from this

      Fake happy & playing along...

      John: Where's Elizabeth?
Lucius: She's making me a sandwich.

      To not so happy...

      *disbelief*

      John: What?

      To CREEPED OUT *LOL*

And didn't Torri say something about how the zipper on her shirt kept getting lowered as a nod to Galaxy Quest?

Even when the crew is drugged, they all know that Sparky is where it's at.

I could swear that clip was made available somewhere... was it in the special features on the DVDs? It's been a while since I've seen them, but I know I've watched that clip before. *scratches head*
She did--homage to Sigourney Weaver, to whom some people have compared her. Here she even sorta had the hair down pat (when Sigourney is a brunette--she was blond in GQ).

Is it on the DVDs? I'd have to go back and check--I didn't watch much of their special features...

Heehee! If I can ignore the squickiness of the story, I tend to enjoy the goofiness of the acting.

I'll say this much for Irresistible: Torri looked GORGEOUS!

Argh, I think I'm gonna have to lug out the S3 DVDs to check.

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

I don't know if there's a special feature. I think there's some mention in the commentary.

            Great analysis, Eri13!
This is not one of my favourite episodes, but I always thought Sheppard was a little jealous here
You confirm my feelings about this ep.

Darn, I know I've seen the actual clip somewhere. But where?

Nah, he was just mad that she was compromising the city and showing her usual bad leadership skillz. LOL

That was a joke in case anyone has to wonder.

I like the idea of finding Sparky in episodes that aren't usually thought of as Sparkyish. We need to start doing at least one each day. After all, they all have something. And the easy part is that Sparky is shown not talked about. So that makes it easy to spot.

And you just know some think it's actually true.

Hey, there's a thought! Maybe we should combine this with my earlier thought of reviving the post-a-thon. We can watch one episode (or more, to keep multiparters together) on a chosen day, then spend the next day or so finding all the not-so-obvious Sparky moments.

I love how Elizabeth just kind of falls into the seat after John is resuscitated. You can just see the naked relief that he's going to be all right so she can check him out personally in private later.

Time-wise it'll be difficult for me to do post-a-thons but I'm all up for finding hidden Sparky moments the next day. I have an excellent memory when it comes to stuff like that.

*LOL* I love that moment in 38 Minutes too. And how she lingers behind to find out what he was really going to say.
