SR, this is fantastic! I love it, all the little vignettes. You could go on with this, and I'd be interested to see how things pan out, but what I'm interested of the most is how his relationship with Elizabeth develops. I mean, at this point he knows her, only he doesn't - yet. What happens next? I would really like to read more.

Thanks. I was thinking that too. Imagine the agony John is going through not just with her but with all of them. He feels so close to them but they barely know him. And considering how hard it is for him to get close to people anyway just makes him want to *headwall* that he has to start all over again building the friendships. The Carson thing is a good start though and shows that the second time John will do things a bit differently. I'm thinking he can transfer that over to his relationship with Elizabeth. I may continue at some point. Maybe a little time has passed and I'll see where the various relationships are. It looks like things may happen somewhat according to the timeline John remembers.

In that case, I'd like to also volunteer for the costume department. I have a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Costume Design, and I know how to use it! (in other words, no more damn leather. And the gawd-awful Star Trek wannabe uniforms from S4-5 are going straight to the incinerator.)
