OMG now I have to kill you. Those bars look divine and I might have to make them this afternoon.

I think I prefer chocolate and peanut butter to most anything. On my healthy eating plan we can have a snack of chocolate chips and peanut butter rolled into a tortilla and heated enough to melt the chocolate and it's AMAZING. Of course, I use probably twice the 'recommended' amount of chocolate and PB.

If you make the bars, don't panic and think you're hopelessly incompetent at following directions. The layers are all very hard to spread and you make quite a mess but when it cooks it all comes together perfectly. I left out the aluminum foil and just sprayed the pan.

Hmm. That's a good idea but hard to think of because it's difficult to imagine life without peanut butter. Who knows what other treats you are missing? Do you have Velveeta? Now that is a decadent American thing that would probably make a French person scream. But it sure does melt well. LOL

And Vegemite is one of those foods that I suspect is a trick played on foreigners. Kind of like haggis and chitlins. For the curious: chitlins.
