Good morning sparkies, it's time for football. Eri good luck today in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry". SK USC should handle Stanford without too many problems. SR Hope those Hokies can pick up a win, they've had a rough couple weeks. Drew maybe Joe Pa and co. can comeback after last week."I only understand about 1% of what she says half of the time."

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

She must be. Even John was a bit dazzled by her, wasn't he? LOL!
It was only a matter of time before the weekday and late night Friday episodes slipped into alignment with each other, but it's really funny that it just so happened to be with those two episodes.
Eh, I dunno, Stanford's been doing pretty well this year; they're actually ranked ahead of USC in the conference. The Pac-10 teams have always been more difficult for us, because we play each other every year, we get to know them, they get to know us. And they always want a piece of us.*smacks them* Maybe that will be an incentive for your guys. Things are getting really tight now. I'm also rooting for the Horned Frogs just because.

Here I am with another of my questions for discussion, if you'd like. What do you guys think of the Genii, after everything we've learned about them? Are they good, bad, or ambigous? Do you enjoy Genii episodes? Who is your favorite Genii?
What do you think of Ladon - good, bad or spineless?I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.

Okay I liked every genii Episode Especially The Storm/The Eye. I think the Genii are the kinda of people who used people to get what the want. (i.e. Food, Info) . so yeah IMO the genii are bad. My Favorite Genii is Kolya. Ladon Certainly has a backbone to him but i'm sure there is much to him that he didn't get to see i mean he was only in 2 episodes in season 3 and then we never got to see him.

I think the Genii were doing what they had to do to survive, more or less. Did they choose the best or most honorable way to do it? Nope . . . but I don't know that they were necessarily 'bad'...antagonists, sure, but not inherently bad. Were they a pain in the backside? Sure they were...but I don't think that (in the beginning anyway) they really had it out for the people of Atlantis specifically. They were just used to taking what they needed or could get by any means necessary - they were living in warlike circumstances after all. The Genii get cranky when they don't get their own way, thus deciding that the people of Atlantis are the enemy...later going on to behave even more like spoiled little kids who didn't get their own way when they fail to take Atlantis.
Ladon seemed a little like a coward to me...
My favorite Genii? Well, we only see a little of her, but I really liked Sora....My fanfics:http://evil_bad_evil.livejournal.com/3389.htmlMember of the Sisterhood of the Pantster Fan Fic Writers

I just don't think that at that point they even realized how childlike and selfishly they were behaving. I don't trust him...I think he'd sell out in order to protect himself...My fanfics:http://evil_bad_evil.livejournal.com/3389.htmlMember of the Sisterhood of the Pantster Fan Fic Writers

I always thought Ladon was interesting. He always seemed the type of character who you could never tell if he was being helpful or deceitful or both. Consequently he was extremely entertaining to watch."First Weir, then Samantha Carter, and now, you! It's a pity you humans die or get reassigned so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction now!"
*You got the touch! You got the poweeeeer!*
"Arise, Woolseyus Prime."
"Elizabeth..."

For some reason I always liked Ladon. maybe bottom line he is a good guy, but there's that thing about him, and the Genii in general, you never know if they're going to screw you up. And yes, that was interesting to watch.I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.
