IMO I do NOT think she'd be given clearance....I look at it this way, Sam's dad was an Air Force General and HE wasn't given clearance (until they thought he was going to die or be blended with Selmak anyway). So chances are, Elizabeth would've had to give her mom a cover story ....

that's just what I think though....

Hey everyone! I had an exhausting day and I'm pretty much poking my nose in to say hello, before I run out again.
Wanted to tell you that I watched "Doppleganger" and thought it was awfully done - neat idea, awful execution. I thought about writing Elizabeth in there and doing one of the scenarios Eri described as belieavable in that situation.

Other that that, I wish me less stress and more free time, but it's not happening.

Getting a security clearance is a hugely big deal. I always LOL at the scene in The Rising when John tells Carson that Jack just gave it to him and Carson falls for it. That's the moment I knew John was going to be my fave. And that Joe was a good actor.

This is how I feel too. I usually watch 3-4 episodes of a new show before I make up my mind so we'll see. Some of the characters are going to have to really grow on me though, because I feel like I've seen all this before only with characters I really loved.

Heh. Well, there were certain details I liked... the design of the ship is nifty, the bit with the marines doing KP duty in the mess hall having a to-go box with dinner for Rush actually cracked me up (and gee, they showed the mess hall kitchen! We never got to see that on Atlantis! ), Daniel looking like he was on a total sugar rush while doing those orientation videos was cute... but the rest... meh.

Thanks! Yeah, I kinda figured that and that's how I've written it, but I got a panic attack and thought I'd check just to make sure. We also have the scene with Ford's cousin where John can't reveal what the truth is behind Aiden's disappearance, showing family isn't informed even after death, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Hence why I rewrote some ... no wait, I took the idea, twisted it a little around, changed a few things here and there, kept some, lost some, and voila "Slaying the Dreamer" was born.
