As far as the SGA movie, I'm not really 'surprised' per se that they're not talking about it now. Everything is wrapped up in Universe. But I'm not going to believe it's completely dead in the water, because I think much of that depends on how Universe does. If it exceeds expectations, I think the SGA movie IS dead. If it doesn't, I think they'll be scrambling to forward their straight-to-DVD ventures and it'll get pushed again--though whether everyone would be available at that point will be another story.

Nice answers to the questions, guys! 'Nuna, I applaud your sticking to canon answers for the Sparky questions.

Well poor Stargate. I feel like it's all hit and miss with these guys. (also I'm a bit frustrated with 'Nuna man's really low watching standards. He doesn't care much for character development, just action action action. Men. *grumbles*)

For within the next two years I would have to give it a 0. If it would be released within 2 years, shooting schedules should already be out, actors and crew would have signed contract already and none of that has happened yet... so yeah... 0

That's a good point. We heard a while ago that it would be in the fall, and now it's August and the cast still hasn't heard anything. If they were aiming to film the movie during the season hiatus for SGU (which would be a pretty smart way to schedule it since they won't be spread so thin over the studio), they'd need to have the cast signed already so they don't lose them to possible scheduling conflicts with other shows that will be filming at that time.

For some reason that reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend not so long ago.
She: Weir was one of my least favorite characters and I was glad she left the show and she doesn't have to return for me.
Me: Really? Ok then, tell me honestly, what's your least favorite season?
She: (with no hesitation) s4 and S5.
Me: Why?
She: because the fun and playful chemistry between the characters seemed to be sorta gone.
Me: and why would that be?
She: cause... oh...
Me: Yeah... now do you still think she doesn't have to return.
She: (squirming... I love to make my friends squirm over this ) Yeah, maybe they should get her back...

*grins* Victory for me!!
See SGA-tptb, even people who don't really like Liz think she needs to return.
Don't waste the chance for a good movie and include her rescue!

Was there any more eps with Teyla's "gift"? I liked how Teyla was put to work here. She was doing something significant, she wasn't there just to look pretty and finally, someone addressed the potential danger of her gift. For all those people who keep saying Elizabeth should have been jettisoned to space or even killed in cold blood because of her nanites, remeber that Teyla is a security risk too, and this episode does a nice job of pointing that out. Should Teyla be killed or airlocked because of that? No. But does her gift pose a threat? Yes. It's an issue that should have been dealt with more, just as Elizabeth's gift. Good writers know how to employ plot devices like these.

Oooooh, nice comparison with Elizabeth's situation in S4-5.
