Sometimes the HD is too much and you just have to fan yourself. Particularly in the John close ups. Damn that man is close to perfect. It's just not fair.

Yesterday I was watching The Storm and the last 15 minutes of the episode when my mom came in and watch the rest the episode with me and she loved it. And since The Eye is about to come on in 9 minutes and she is exited about watching it

Darn! Down where I live, Time Warner Cable has both the regular old standard def SyFy and SyFy HD. But apparently SyFy HD doesn't have a West Coast feed yet, so we get the HD programming at the same time as the East Coast does, while the standard def SyFy does have a West Coast feed and SGA comes on at its officially scheduled time of 5pm.

Sometimes the HD is too much and you just have to fan yourself. Particularly in the John close ups. Damn that man is close to perfect. It's just not fair.

What kind of plans do you draw? The entire Hot Strip Mill (my dept) was German designed. So you never know.

I mainly design lifting equipment like cranes and such. But the stuff that I design is mostly used in Europe, so I highly doubt you ever came across one of my plans or designs
But one of our major partners is a German company... don't know if you guys use any stuff from Terex/Atlas?

Yeah, apparently that was the plan, but the episode was running long so it got chopped. Pity that, it would've been nice to see Sora again and get a bit of closure for her.

A lot of good things have been chopped cause the episode would be too long
Such a shame they weren't smart enough to add them to the DVD's...

so i wrote this after watching lifeline less than 20 minutes ago and i know its not beta'd but it was a spur of the moment thing. so here it is.

They stand together staring out at the night sky.
40 Minutes Later
Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard watched as Colonel Carter and Dr. Lee Stepped through the gate and as he turned to chuck just as the gate shut down “alright Chuck I’m heading for my quarters if some life saving emergency radio Rodney I’ll be my quarters” he was already half way down the stairs before chuck could even mutter “yes sir”.
As He was walking down the corridors He ran into Dr. Rodney McKay. “ah Sheppard Just the man I’m looking for You Should Know that The….” He just watched as the Colonel just walked past him without even batting an eye.
About 10 minutes had passed before John waved his hand over the console and the doors slid open and he entered his quarters. As he walked in he headed straight for his laptop and he booted it up and he opened his iTunes Library scrolled to Johnny Cash and Clicked on “Solitary Man” and as he opened a Document Page and Started to Write a Letter. But before he started writing he took out his radio and threw it on his bed and then he started to writer.
Dear Mrs. Rose Weir,
My Name is Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard and I had the great privilege of serving with your daughter. While I can’t tell you what she’s been doing or where she’s been, I can tell you that we won't give up until we find her… alive or…dead. She was a brilliant leader, a skilled negotiator, and furthermore, a close friend. We’re doing everything we can to bring her back to you.

I should let you know Mrs. Weir That Your Daughter was Respected by Both the Military and The Civilian Personnel on the Base where she was stationed at. I also had the honor of getting to know her. If it’s all right with you Mrs. Weir We would like to keep some of her personnel belongings just in case we locate her and rescue her but rest assured Mrs. Weir if we don’t….

This next part was hard for john to type.

If we don’t find her all of Elizabeth’s belongings will be shipped back to you.
‘Minus of course the Pot he gave Elizabeth for her birthday 2 years ago’ He Thought to himself as he Finished up typing the letter.

Finding Elizabeth is at the top of my priorities both me and my team will never stop looking. I’m Very Sorry for your lost Mrs. Weir

Just as he finished typing it up. he imagined Elizabeth Standing over his shoulder wearing her Atlantis Uniform that she wore right before the replicators attacked Atlantis Reading it. “My Mom will probably be crying but I bet she would’ve been happy to know that someone took the time to write to her.”
“Yeah” John said softly as he got up and he sat on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. “You know I’m not so good at saying what’s on my mind but you should know that I love you Elizabeth Weir and I will not stop searching for you.” “I know John I know I’m sorry we never got the chance to tell each other how we feel” the imaginary Version of Weir said and as he looked up she was gone.
He thought to himself “why do we wait to tell people all we feel” and with that John Got out his war and peace book and started to read.

And now Kolya's just let slip that Elizabeth is still alive. Hah!

Oh, he didn't let that just 'slip'. After three rounds of Sheppard getting the upper hand he knew he'd made a huge mistake, and strategically put in that Elizabeth was still alive because he knew that was the only thing that would stop him in his tracks.

And lo and behold, it actually does. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Teyla vs. Sora catfight!

Ick. I always hated that stupid scene. It was fanboying to the max.

Atlantis is saved!

McKay's bandage over his jacket sleeve still looks stupid. And oh, look, Lizzie and John are mirroring again!

I love The Eye.

I love it too! But I never understood why they had Rodney have that moment of sheer and utter stupidity. I mean, sometimes it's funny but come on! For one thing, he took his jacket OFF at the end. Why would he put it back on again and bandage around it? And two, he didn't seem to be complaining about a hurt arm too much when he was typing like a madman to raise the shield.

And three--Carson's not the only doctor on STAFF! Just because he's got a concussion doesn't mean that the 20 other people we see wandering around the infirmary can't help with a stupid bandage.

I hate stupid writing.

Oh, tell me about it! For all that he's supposedly a genius, McKay can be incredibly stupid about some things. Maybe it's indifference to pain in the face of impending death, but still. And yeah, what about the other doctors and nurses? Or does Rodney not trust anyone to do it right except Carson? Hmm, that must've given some fuel to the McKay/Beckett shippers...
