Elizabeth Weir/John Sheppard Appreciation/Ship/Discussion Thread
87. ALT-WEIR: Enjoy the moment -- what's here right now. The sun, the breeze ... our birthday!
WEIR: Sheppard couldn't keep it to himself, huh?!
(Before I Sleep)
If she knows that is her birthday, it's because he talked to her.
So my question is: Is someone wrote a story about this missing scene. A conversation between Sheppard and old/Weir ?
sigpic
Sig made by nephty and avi by Kris....THANK YOU!
I saw that for the episode “GITM”, there will have no commentary. It annoys me even more. The only episodes I would have liked to see comment are “The Real World” and “GITM” and by chance these episodes are the only episodes without comment.
Oh and if I mention this, it’s because "The Real World" and "GITM" are Sparky episode.
So I'm on the right thread. lol
Well,I should try to relax me. It was a very bad day but it's the angst day so it's normal.lol
Ah, so GitM won't have a commentary on the DVDs either? Gee, I'm not surprised. Oh well, we'll just have to come up with our own Sparky-rific commentary track!

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon.Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

Hmm, now that is an interesting idea! I could swear I've seen a missing scene fic with a conversation between Sheppard and OldWeir... or maybe I'm just delusional and still riding on that adrenaline high from my morning run.

Bonus are:
-Long version of "Vegas" and "EATG"
-Commentaries except for "GITM", "The Shrine", "Infection" and "Identity"
-Showdown! Ronan v. Tyre
-Bringing the Seed to Life
-Tricks of the Trade: Submerging the Stargate
-Joe Flanigan: A Conversation with the Colonel
-Dr. Jackson Goes to Atlantis
-Building a Humanoid with James Robbins and Martin Gero
-The Life and Death of Michael Kenmore
-Deleted Scenes (Part One)
-Stargate Atlantis Goes To Vegas
-Inside the Stargate Costume Department
-Deleted Scenes (Part Two)
-Mission directive "Search and Rescue", "Whispers", "Tracker" and "Brain Storm"
In bold, that's what interests me.
I hope that in the deletes scenes, there will be the scene where Kolya talks about Weir to Sheppard (I don't remember the name of the episode lol).

Remnants is the episode you're thinking of, with Not!Kolya and Sheppard. And yeah, they had so better have that scene included!
So "The Shrine", "Infection" and "Identity" also don't have commentaries... no loss there.
Hmm, sounds like you and I are interested in the same bonus features... I'm also interested in the costume department one (in spite of their heavy-handed use of leather that's been dyed all sorts of funky colors that wouldn't be possible for societies at a pre-Renaissance technological level!).
Of course, I'm still not going to get the DVD set.

It sounds like a trend. First TRW and now this. Not in the least surprised.

I am, however, shocked that there's no commentary on The Shrine since it's virtually everybody's favorite. Odd that.

I can't seem to get the link to show as the title, only the http:... Anyone know how to post a link that's a title?
To post a link that's a title, you need to highlight the text you want to turn into a link, then go to the top of the message window and click on the Insert Link button (looks like Earth with a chain at the bottom; it's right below the smile button), which will open a pop-up window to type in the web address. Then hit OK and it should be done.
