Well considering its an hour earlier due to the fact we've just clicked off Daylight Saving here in Australia.... there aint no point in getting out of bed if I set the disc up in the DVD player the night before, and have the trusty laptop on my bedside table.. then I wont have to get out of bed! Sweet! Sounds like you've got everything well planned out!
T-minus 20 hours and 48 minutes until Progeny and The Real World!(This is legal notice that any attempt to censor or delete, for the purpose of oppressing fair and open discussion, any statement made by me will be considered a violation of my right to free speech as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, and will be dealt with in accordance with federal law.)
Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

SGA: Rising; Casualties of War; Blood Ties; Nightfall
SG1: Trial by Fire; Alliances; Do No Harm
So far I've read Rising and Casualties of War and I'm half with Trial by Fire.
I totally and absolutely loved Casualties of War, if only for Elizabeth's awesome negotiating skills and for the fact that the book shows that John and Liz are merely humans with a limit too. Very nicely written and already one of my favs.

Originally posted by Scary Kitty View PostExcellent! CoW is totally awesome, and I think you'll also enjoy Blood Ties; the novels by Whitelaw and Christensen have all been fantastic. Don't have Nightfall yet and I'm not sure I'm going to get it as it's set in Season 4 (and therefore, no Lizzie or Carson).
I actually haven't read any of the SG-1 novels I have yet...
I'll let you know my thoughts about it.

Originally posted by KrisRussel View PostWell, I'm gonna finish 'Trial by Fire' first and then start with the two other SGA novels. I was doubting if I should buy Nightfall or not because it's set in S4, but I want to give it a chance as S4 was watchable (unlike S5).
I'll let you know my thoughts about it.
