    Hey, just to let you know, I have a Sparky story that I've written (or at least, I THINK I've written it!!!) but it's on my other computer, so as soon as I can, I will post it on Command Dynamics.

    And no more angst for me, I'm making myself too depressed!

                I'd have to say no. While I don't like the idea of any Elizabeth floating out in space either, I also don't like the idea of recasting the role just because the writers don't have the creativity, the guts, and the decency to do the story right by the character and the actress in the first place. That's why even though I enjoyed Michelle Morgan's performance in GitM, the fact that they had simply recast the role instead of trying to come to a compromise with Torri about the storyline felt like a cheap cop out just to play the audience like yo-yos. I don't trust TPTW anymore.

                  I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth-the-character as much as Torri-as-Elizabeth. And while I'd support Torri in anything she does--including a decision not to return--yes, I'd watch if they brought Elizabeth back as FRAN.

                  Part of that may be the time period I got to enjoy Elizabeth--remember I didn't work with 3 years of Torri-as-Elizabeth, only about 5 months or so--that I may be able to deal with a different actress. I think Torri should do what she wants, given what happened, though of course ideally I'd want her back!

                  But...if she opted not to, and TPTB wanted Elizabeth out of stasis, then, yes, I'd take getting Elizabeth revived again as Michelle Morgan. She did a decent job--she kept Elizabeth strong in all the parts of her that count. I would much prefer character-Elizabeth out of space and with her people, no matter what she looked like or who was portraying her.

                      I agree. I walked out after the whole Elizabeth fiasco, as soon as see was with the Asurans. I felt both the character and the show were really let down with that. It was just disrepectful to Elizabeth and the other characters. i saw no need for it.

                      They need to have Elizabeth, or at least an answer in the film. After all she is only 96% dead, we have recieved no confirmation either way, even the wirters and directors are still dancing around the subject. The film would be hard to watch, knwoing there is still a MAJOR arc not completed.

                              Indeed. We need an answer. After all the ways they've jerked us around, we've more than earned an honest answer for once. But with all the crazy twists and turns they've thrown into the story, I really don't know if it's possible to finish it effectively without Torri's involvement. Heck, it may not be possible even if Torri is involved; a 90-minute movie doesn't seem like enough time to answer all the unanswered questions. There's always going to be some shred of doubt in the back of our minds, asking 'was it really her or just another duplicate like all the ones before?' and not getting enough proof to be certain of the answer.

                              and do some sort of surprise bonus scene at the end of the closing credits (like we've seen with the Pirates of the Caribbean movies) where we find out that the real Elizabeth ascended... all bets are off.
