I know, and I'm glad! I'll try and get there. From my work computers with our 'firewall of DOOOOOOOOOOM' there is no way to see Livejournal and I wish there was. I miss it, I had a ton of fun when I could regularly go there. I'd probably have 3/4 Sparky icons now, and double/triple the f-list.

YAAAAAARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I've finished editing my fic, but fanfiction.net is down and won't let me submit it!

Would anybody be interesting in temporarily hosting it? It's 10 pages long, a humor fic based around one of the caps gateraid did about Landry trying to imitate Weir/Sheppard eyesex.

Sparky-based, but not romantic, since I'm sort of poking fun at the lack of relationships in SG.

Anyone interested?

Oooh, thanks for that. I hear he also said again that he's sorry Sheppard was left all alone. And he did seem to think they were heading for something romantic with Larrin. I get the idea he wasn't all that into shipping him with one of the main characters. But he does keep saying they shouldn't have killed Elizabeth. So who knows? I'm just sorry he wasn't in charge for a number of reasons.

Which I'm not surprised about, given how these writers handle their canon ships. (I still think sparky turned out wonderful because it's mostly Joe and Torri who shaped it by their on screen chemistry and great acting). Also, I'm watching third season of Battlestar Galactica these days, and I can't help to think - if Sparky was written like Roslin/Adama, quality wise and in rather similar manner (because it is very similar); it would have been the best ship EVER and I don't think many people would complain about it.

I think she bothered kissing him because TPTB are, as mentioned in another post, diabolical. They needed something to stir people up about the episode.

Let's forget about tptb and tptw for a few moments and just think in the context of Atlantis 'the city' and not Atlantis 'the tv show'. If, in the Atlantis universe, you had to explain such a kiss between two mortal enemies, the only reasonable explanation you could give is that they have a very intimate history somewhere down the line. Like I said, I don't see Sheppard and Kolya do something like that... not even after 10.000 years...
