Movie Maker is a stubborn little thing, but when you know how to tame it, you can do good stuff with it. It's very good for simple things, like this vid, but you can't pull off special effects with WMM. Plus, it crashes very often.

Premiere Pro is a powerful monster. Be patient with it, it's a great program and can do many things.

Holy cow. Premier Pro is massive. I use Final Cut Express and it was a very large learning curve. I got a book from Amazon and followed the tutorials and learned a bit at a time. Maybe PP has one.

Yep! Try looking for tuts on you tube, those are good! People film while they're working with some program, it's a very good method of learning. Also, try Sony Vegas. It's a good and not so massive program, but better equipped than WMM. I'm too lazy to learn to use it.

I love Premeire but I only have Elements. I worked very well with my last vid. The userguide says you can do mattes on channels. Haven't figured it out yet though.

Good afternoon, Sparkies!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you, and of course, to our Sparky!

T-minus 1 hour and 28 minutes to post-a-thon!

I had this crazy dream tonight... absolutely insane... I'm not gonna tell all about it, but it really was crazy...
Anyway, one of the parts of the dream was that I ran into JF in a street and of course the first thing I did was ask him for an autograph, which he gave me twice, cause he screwed up the first one. And he had this really weird autograph that had the form of the €-sign...
Anyhoo... After the whole autograph thing, I suddenly remembered this interview, so I ask him: "In Stargate magazine, you said that you wish John had a love interest with his female boss. Were you talking about anyone in particular?"
And JF looks at me with this little smirk on his face. "You're one of the Sparkies, aren't you?"
It's weird how crazy dreams can sometimes be lifelike, cause I started stuttering at that point and was like: "euh yeah... but... if you say it was Carter... euh... that's also good (I actually mumbled: even thought she belongs to Jack)"
JF laughed and patted me on the back (yay, dream JF patted me on the back *grins stupidly*) and then came closer and whispered in my ear: "Don't tell anyone this, but I'm a Sparky too."
Then he winked and walked off.
And then the dream continued in it's weirdness... but I'll spare you the details...
But yay, dream-JF told me he was a Sparky! *grins stupidly*

*sighs* Ah, that's such a good dream!

I'm trying to get mine finished, but I'm having some trouble with the rendering and I'm trying to figure out how to do end titles... will prolly skip the end titles as I'm getting too annoyed by it
