We went in to get him out before he died of old age or the monster ate him.
The other people ascended. Sheppard didn’t want to go with them. Weir thought Sheppard’s beard was hot.

Weir got infected with nanites.
They tried to turn her into a Replicator.

Do you guys consider deleted scenes canon? I think I do up to a point. but most of the time unless it's on screen I don't. Like for instance if it was an alternative take or they deleted because it didn't feel right I don't consider it canon. Most of the time with SGA though I don't think they have alternative takes because they cut those things out before they get to filming. In this case though if it was filmed and was put into the episode but was too long then I don't know if I consider it canon but it totally supports what is already on the show. So it's half and half for me.

I'm going to try to be really objective. And I have an example to prove I'm right. Last season in Trio

there was a deleted scene that pretty much confirmed Sam/Jack. I loved it and said it was about time. As far as I was concerned that ship had been canon all along and the deleted scene just added to it.

I feel the same way now. Take for example the other scene about John's

mother. Even though that was deleted it's still true and they may choose to revisit it in the movie.

When you have the emotional reactions we've had from John, you don't need it to be spoken. JF's faceacting is canon.
