I can do the eyebrow of doom, so I appreciate when people can and they use it. Not everyone buys it--even as a total Elizabeth fan, there were things on occasion that would annoy me. The biggest is that almost every time she makes a decision, she looks over at someone. This is mostly for semi-important moments, but she does it alot.

But, it doesn't detract in general from Elizabeth, and I LOVE that she has clear, defined facial expressions that don't require words. Only David Hewlett could match her--neither Joe nor Rachel really expressed themselves via their face, it always had to be with body language or accompanied with words. Joe has great expressions, don't get me wrong, but they always seems to preface an action he's going to make or a sentence he's going to speak. Torri would whip around and raise that eyebrow, and you knew exactly what she was conveying without her having to say anything.
That, to me, is so effective because it limits exposition, which I hate if there's too much of it. Plus, 'teh eyebrow' can be used in so many ways so I'm particularly fond of that. I always harken back to how effectively Vivian Leigh used it in "Gone with the Wind".
Really great expression.
