    Going on an adventure tomorrow.

    Have to pick up a laptop at the offices of a client, a private bank (whose clients are almost all of noble blood) so I have to go to their office building in Brussels, which means take 3 trains and hope to high heavens that no delays or other deviations happen cause it'll be stressful enough as it is.

        It wasn't dragons that hindered my path... but platform changes, a 30 minute delay cause some idiot was running on the tracks between stations, missed a connecting train cause they decided to make it leave a minute earlier than it said on the timetable and I was still switching platforms to catch it, and then no more seating space cause well... full train.

        I can honestly say that I hate travelling by train and that I'm not likely to do it again any time soon.

        My stress-level was off the chart, and my body battery depleted when I finally made it home.

            I went to the rheumatologist this morning and he put me on a stronger, once a week injectable medicine. I hope it works. It will take a week or so to get it (insurance ), and then a couple of weeks before it kicks in.

              For short trips yes, but not to travel to the capital for an "on-boarding" which we have tried telling this client a million times now that we don't actually work for them as their employees but that we are external consultants who do jobs for them so we don't actually need to know how their HR works.

              Brussels is a bit out of the bike-range though I could have taken the folding bike with me as it turned out the bike lane of the road I had to walk, was actually separated from the main road. The road in question used to be 4 lanes one-way, but they turned the 4th lane into a bike lane instead, separating it with concrete blocks from the other 3 lanes.

              And also... at one point I stood waiting to cross the road and they have countdown timers by the traffic-lights. I had to wait 70 seconds for the light to turn green, and I had exactly 25 seconds to cross the road. I was the only on the crossing so I took my sweet time to cross, making good use of those 25 seconds.
