D'oh! That's so annoying! But now you know for next time.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Sesame Street GPS. We need more of that!

Sparky is on screen. Therefore, it is canon. Elizabeth is still out there. And John WILL bring her home.

I would install that in a heartbeat.

I once had it set to Swedish and forgot to tell my dad when he borrowed it. He was not amused.

No animals were harmed during the virtual fireworks.
Can't say the same for real life animals and fireworks. Lucy, my uncle's dog was terrified and hid in the bathroom, under the sink apparently. And one of our cats threw up all over the coffeetable so they too had a rough night.

Oh no! I hope the pets are all feeling safer today.

Lucy was cuddled to death yesterday, and Faro spend the entire afternoon snoozing next to me as I tried to work -- everything went pearshaped again. Technology seemed to be having a hangover.

But I have 4 days off now... so whatever happens at work this week... not my problem.

I'm off to Heerlen (The Netherlands) tomorrow - today - to visit an ancient Roman bathhouse and the museum on Roman history.

Snow one weekend and then 75 degrees with tornado watch and maybe an earthquake or two.

I finally took down two of my trees. I left the little one on the bedroom up. It’s a forest theme tree with cute forest creatures, mushroom, and trailhead sign ornaments. I figure that makes it a winter season tree, lol.

My cats were not happy about the fireworks but besides giving windows several pointed looks they were fine. Sorry your furbabbies had such a rough night. Mine didn’t last too long so that helped.

                  Have fun with the trip!

And I thought weather in SoCal was wild!

Not a normal week for sure. I think we usually have one of the more stable weather environments. Very grateful for that. We are on a fault so it’s normal for us to have little tremors quite often but they usually barely register as seismic activity. I only realize what’s going on if they manage to rattle my china cabinet (that has no fine china, lol).

Heh! Well, little rattles are definitely better than big rattles, that's for sure!

                          Happy Birthday to Falcon Horus!!!

                          I hope you've had a fabulous day!!

I had a bit of a medical scare from Tuesday night into Wednesday. I started getting episodes of severe left shoulder pain, radiating down my left arm. It didn't appear to be related to movement of any kind. I was scared it was my heart, so I went to the ER. They ran all kinds of tests which were thankfully negative. They had no idea what the pain was caused from. It seems to be getting better.

Thank you and I did indeed. I received a gift card from a well-known toy-store over here (Dreamland) for a total of 100 euro so I went to a store nearby and got me a new Lego set -- the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Have yet to start building cause my Lego light kit for my ship in a bottle set arrived in the mail so I wanted to install that first. However, due to some unfortunate breaking of bricks (nothing to do with the light kit) I had to order spare parts so that won't be completed until next week.

Tomorrow (Friday), I have an aunt coming over to spend the day here and in the evening I'm going out to see the Giants Bugs and Those That Eat Them lightfestival at the zoo nearby (link is to a youtube trailer -- Dutch only but you'll get the idea) with my best friend and sister, and afterwards we'll have French Fries for dinner to celebrate my b'day of today (Thursday).

I also have a wee little birthday inspired "Unofficial office saga" chapter in mind ... Laura Cadman is going to be making an appearance. That's all I can say for now.

Could be a nerve stuck in between some other body parts, or some such. Glad it wasn't the motor.
