But I knew nothing good could come from Keller. If I'd only stayed just a little longer...but being upset about it won't fix what happened. *strokes Beck's hair, half smiling at her, and I would swear it looks as if she smiles back slightly even if she is in a coma*

I wish Poet would be able to feel...to feel the pain and somehow know that ending her life won't fix anything, only make it worse...to realize she's got all she should ever need here...with you and your father and all of her friends.

(Sparky, Beck made it clear to me she does not want to be "healed" by the hand devices, sarcophagus, Poet's powers or any other unnatural means....she wants me and the Carsons to take care of her)

Joey: I hope Poet never feels that...I know what you mean dear but if she could feel that....she would not rest a second until she could finally kill herself, knowing she would have caused so much pain to her friends *he smiles sadly* I know that's odd but that is how she thinks...she knows what she does hurts you and she blames herself for hurting you and then she gets angry atherself feeling guilty for it and then, it starts again

*I nod sadly and then return my focus to Beck, and with one last quick hug, Joey returns to Ariel, nMichael, Gabriel and Poet, and then A-Carson comes over to me, gathering me into his arms without making me move from Beck's bed, I hold on to him and just watch my sister, i'm only glad I was able to save her*

(Meanwhile, back just before Keller entered the infirmary.....)

*After Shep and Dell had eaten, Shep had been called away to work, and Dell decided she would go down to the Gym and watch some sparing, but when she got there no one was there, so she decided to do some stretches, see how badly she had been hurt. She was in the middle of one when a wave of fear and anger hit her like a physical blow...Aang was broadcasting her feelings on high volume, the force knocked Dell back and she ended up sitting on the floor unable to move, but feeling everything her sister was.Dell put her hands up to her head to try and hold the pain back, the force was giving her a massive headache. after a bit the fear settled down, but the anger took over. Then that too went down to manageable levels and Dell was left sitting on the floor panting. she didn't know the details, but she knew damn well who had done what. She pulled her self up off the floor, grabbing her crutches and left the gym in a hurry.She was passing the gateroom on her way to the infirmary when she saw Keller. Dell went down the stairs, passing people, the room was quite busy. As she past a marine, she grabbed his side arm and dropped the crutches. When she was only a few feet from Keller she raised the gun and aimed it at her head*

Dell You are a doctor, you must have known that what you did would kill her, you tried to murder my sister!
Keller No, please, I didn't realize she had 2 charts!
Dell So you admit you are incompetent, yet you still practice?
Dell, put the gun down, you don't want to do this!

*tears are running down my face, I am so angry. I cock the gun and keep my aim on Keller, but Shep is standing in front of her, and I'm worried he may move and get in the way of the bullet.*

* then two strong arms come round me form behind and knock the gun out of my hand and hold me firmly in place. my head drops, I failed*

*he nods to Elizabeth and takes me away, still holding me close to him.

Where is she? She needs some form of physical punishment for what she's done. *a low hum becomes audible as the hand device activates*

*just now, in the infirmary, I begin to wonder where Dell is...I think to her: Where are you, Dell? I thought you would have come by now?*

*I hold on to Beck's hand still, with A-Carson's arms wrapped around my shoulders from behind, but something is missing without my oldest sister here*

Sparky, remember what Dell said to you about not killing "bad guys"? And um Keller is not on this planet anymore.

*sitting in the isolation room, on my own, knowing there are people looking down on my from above, but unwilling to look up*
*thinks back*

Aang, I'm a bit busy at the moment, I think it will be a while before I can get back to the infirmary. Keller has left the base, I know that much.
*the feelings that go with the thought are of guilt and a touch of fear, not for my possible punishment, but what it may mean for my sisters*
