Did I mention how outraged I am at the characters not even mentioning Carson in 'Submersion', the very ep after Sunday...?
I knew I was right when I posted the poem by Theodor Storm as the last one of the wake:

I doubt the thread will die. He will have other career opportunities that we can discuss, I'm sure. Besides, there's still people thunking over others who have left the show.

I haven't seen any of season three yet, but when I do I am positive that I will be seriously p.o.ed (censoring myself) when I see 'Submersion'. That's totally wrong. It does seem to happen often in TV though.

The lines from that poem describe the situation perfectly.

So did I, Caz. And I guess many did just as well. There was some amazing stuff posted in here and the 'Save Carson' thread, wouldn't wanted to have missed it. Well, for Carson's survival I would have loved to miss it, but you know what I mean, don't ya?

The chair snippet seems very apt...*hides beckett/chair tendencies*...hehe my weirdness aside, the chair always seemed like CARSON's, not even Sheppard sat in it so much.

BTW, I'm also working on a fanfiction about an alternate ending for 'Sunday'. Well, it's actually what I initially hoped they'd do, when I still clung to the minimal hope TPTB were only making so much of a noise and didn't do it after all. The working title is 'Surviving Sunday'. But I don't have the slightest idea when this will be finished, it's already complete in my head, though. I'll keep you posted about the progress.

I'm remaining optimistic too.

Of course, since I'm a syndication girl I'll have Carson around for quite some time and don't really have to deal with the loss. Sometimes, not having cable is a good thing.

I'm actually about to cancel mine. Most of what I watch when I get home is syndicated except for Stargate ( ) so whats the point now? Thats what DVDs are for.....

As for the cable thing, we just never got it. My parents would only watch the channels that show old sitcoms and everything I would want to watch ends up in syndication on network TV anyways. So with the money we save by not having cable we buy ourselves other pretty things.

when they installed my cable they couldnt get the jack to work so they drilled under my townhouse/apt and just spilt a cable from the main line. I don't think they can cut me off if I do cancel the tv part....
