Carson Beckett/Paul McGillion Thunk Thread

You should. Even I did it. The end was brutal but there was some fantastic Beckett lines, smiles and interactions. Where were those for the past 2 1/2 seasons??? I mean he has always been endearing, but you see him outside his doctor shell.....I know that was the purpose of Sunday and it was nice seeing those (for everyone else too). It was loooong overdue.

But it was still pointless in the end in my opinion.

I agree.... It was a very nice Carson episode. He made me smile and laugh in many seconds....

I loved Duet! I actually might go watch it here in a few. I dunno. I'm afraid knowing what I know that any episode w/Carson I watch might make me cry.

Plus I need to do some laundry so my clothes will be clean for me to leave tomorrow. *sigh* I need a maid...cause mom just isn't cutting it anymore. Haha!

Yeah I understand. I LOVE Duet. It's my fave SGA episode... It's huge.

Sometimes I ask myself: am I crazy because I cry from losing a character? Just to remind myself that my dad has had cancer.....

Ahhh Duet, one of my fave eps of any tv show of all time. I laughed so hard, still do. Its right up there with "Chuckles Bites the Dust".....from the MTM Show.

Oh, same here. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did when I first saw "Duet"! I literally slid off the couch onto the floor, and I was crying from laughter.

Yeah I was trying to think of something to cheer me up. I thought the same thing, and then thought it would make me more upset. I'm debating between Duet or my aforementioned Chuckles Bites the Dust. That is fitting as well.

I don't think I've laughed that as hard as I did at Duet either. Paul and David were dynamic! I absolutely loved it. I wish they would have done another episode like that. Really showcase what a great friendship they had...had. *sniffles* Everything is past tense now. That's so sad.

Carson was great in the ep though. I loved it. Loved him in it. Although it did introduce him to that little hussy (sorry Caz...I know you shipped for those two). He was absolutely adorable in it!

I was never a Cadman fan. Not cause I was jealous (as what everyone is thinking) just didn't like her character, the acting and thought they were an odd pair. But as a redhead, looooved the fact she was a strawberry blonde (like me)

Try to remember the good parts... For example that part when he wanted to knock to that crazy doctor (what's her name?)... That smile... Awesome

I must agree.... Cadman doesn't suit Carson at all in my opinion. I think Carson needs a doctor or somebody like... Katie... OK, she's McKay's girl but her "temperament" and behaves are almost the same as Carson's. I think.... But it's just MY opinion

I am not a shipper at all, but I agree. A scientist or doctor who is sweet and generous. Maybe a bit charasmatic to bring him out of his shy shell, but something/one that suits him.

Yeah I didn't like her character either. She did have pretty hair. But I always thought our little Scottish doc could do better! I think he deserved better. Haha!

Ok, I have been soooo out of it. I had 30 some pages to dig through!
It is way past my bedtime (almost 2:30 AM here in Dallas), but I just had to. Unfortunately, I saw those caps of Caz's (most of them wonderful by the way-you know which ones weren't), that I already teared up. Just can't see it yet.

I wrote a rant just now but erased it. Just don't have the energy anymore!

I have to make use of this wrath in some positive way (other than writing letters, which I will cont to do.) I will see if I can get a hang of PhotoShop to participate in the wake. If I had all the epis, I'd make a vid now that I kind of know how to make one.

ahh Duet is my second fav ep of season 2. strangely, and for no reason at all, Critical Mass is my fav (good Carson hair episode...and the arm porn at the end when he crosses his arms...whew...). Hmm people ramping on my ship again
