I'm gone for a week and cannot believe how much I've missed!

Firstly, a big WELCOME to the newbies on GW, and on this thread (thistledown & AtlantisFan), and Welcome Back to those who haven't dropped in, in a while

(((TJuk))) Those pics you've put up.....*THUNK* I think you may have just given me a concussion ....your website rocks, especially your gallery! I would 'green' you but I still need to spread them around

(((DWRose & A)))....I will be making my contribution to the LCLA soon, have been surfing the net for great pics, and have found some great screen caps from a fantastic website whom I will be honoring and courtesying once I put the pics up. Right now my connection has been playing up lately....probably because hubby has tinkered with the PC again. I think he's getting jealouse that i spend my time in PM/CB thunk thread instead of with him....poor thing, he gets a little insecure when he sees me ogling our good Dr. Beckett

You know, in all seriousness, you don't really know how good an actor is when you've only seen him in one role. How much is acting? How much is him just being himself? But wow, I took one look at the closeups from the "Jake 2.0" episode and he just WASN'T Carson Beckett. He wasn't engaging in any drastic "meanie" scowl or anything, just internally obviously not the same person. Very intense!

You know, in all seriousness, you don't really know how good an actor is when you've only seen him in one role. How much is acting? How much is him just being himself? But wow, I took one look at the closeups from the "Jake 2.0" episode and he just WASN'T Carson Beckett. He wasn't engaging in any drastic "meanie" scowl or anything, just internally obviously not the same person. Very intense!

Yeah, one of the benefits of seeing *cough* most *cough* of his work I know about, good base for comparison.

And you need to watch 'See Grace Fly'! The character is very different from Carson, 'Dominic McKinley' a 'suppressed but courageous missionary' is a world away from the happy go lucky, loveable Scot. Its a very angsty and intense character, hell its an angsty and intense film handling some pretty damn serious issues. There are also moments of quirk and hilarious dark humour and a totally off the wall sex scene which had me part way between cringing and laughing my ass off!! Paul is bloody amazing, definately some of his best work, he is the male lead too (and probably the only film I've seen him in with a substantial role...which is damn frustrating!!!! ) and carries it well, its a 'must see' for all PM fans!

He seemed to play alot of either jerks or cops (some both!) in his earlier career! Not that I'm complaining, man in uniform and all that...just wish it wasn't brown so often!!

I would really like to see him in "See Grace Fly" sounds like my kind of movie. Can't get it as a *cough* my computer just couldn't handle that.
I was hopeing it may get an Australian release in the Arthouse type cinemas but I can't find any reference/distributor for it here. So DVD eventually it will have to be. At least my DVD can play multi-region.
