Hi, I'm back...I just remembered, slightly OT by the way...

Last night I did an audition for the old folk's christmas party to sing solo, and I sang 'Our Journey Begins' from the episode Critical Mass.

Hopefully we'll find out soon about how I did...

Really Allestian? Good luck on that! I hope you do well. I sooooo wanna go to a con with him in attendance... I'd pay just about anything right now. I just never seem to find out about them until it's too late!

I just don't have the confidence to travel to a convention...

Aww... not even if I go with ya?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go with you, but I get extremely anxious in those kind of situations.

Which reminds me. Everyone avoid Virginia beachat about July next year because I might be there for about 3-5 weeks. Depending if I can get myself on a dang plane.

lol... Aww, don't feel bad. Anxiety is natural at conventions with huge numbers of people in attendance. We can choose a smaller or medium size convention, though. The local ones where I live usually have between 15,000 and 22,000 people at them throughout a given weekend, depending on the guests, and that's actually medium sized. Comic-con I think would be too much at like 70,000. That many people is just ghastly. But the medium ones usually have a nicer balance between popularity and good guests and panels. I'll hold your hand... Trust me, it's much less painful than a dentist's visit!

Oh, c'mon... Don't complain so much. Swim for it! Just don't let your arms get tired.

I already knew people there, that's why I went. =D I would've never dared to go alone. *lol*

It's a lot more fun to go when you know other people who are going that you can hang out with at all hours of the night. But I'd go to a con alone, if the guests were good enough. I've done it before.

When I went to the con in London, I didn't know anyone. But I soon made friends with people. And I've been in contact with a number of people since I got home. They've also asked me if I'm going to Pegasus 2 in February. So I know if I go there, I'll have friends there already.

I was nervous about it, but I found everyone was friendly.

I went to a con on my own when I was 12!

Now you see Pegasus 2 would depend on the date...

We have the Joseph performances in feb...

70,000 people!?! Wow, the biggest I've ever been to had 4,000!

Well, that's really just an arbitrary number for Comic-con, really... I read it somewhere, don't remember exactly where though.
