*thinks back to Aang while being shaken by abother wave of tears* But if I had not been distraced with little John and the other wraith on the hive I would have noticed that she ran away...I could have at least protected her from being hurt like that *cries so hard by now silently that she starts feeling dizzy, feels so sad that feathers from her wings start falling to the ground*

(PM sis Hello Sparky, Beck isnt talking right now - shes a bit bizzy dying at the moment haha. So where is Sparky right now? what is she doing? who is she talking to?)

(Damn and my Jumper is gone too! *facedesk* Going to have to BEG Rodney to modify me a new one...)

I'm sorry, Poet. When she comes out of surgery, come and be there for her...but for now, all that can help her is if we work to save her...

*At Beck's side, I can see blood pouring from her wounds, I can see this is going to be another nerve wracking one. Her pulse is very weak and I can barely sense Na'Kita either. I look over at Carson, we are both working to stop the bleeding so we can move her, for the second time in a week I am thoroughly covered in the blood of one of my sisters and for the second time, I could not care less. With the bleeding mostly stopped, I look at Carson, but he shakes his head and lifts Beck in his arms*

I'll carry 'er back, Lass. We'll do th' surgery t'gether t' remove th' bullets b'cause I know there's no' a chance you'll leave 'er alone even wi' me, but I won' leave 'er either.

*I nod, I'm not going to argue with my sister's husband, so we silently walk back to the infirmary, where he lays her on a gurney and we run into the operating room, for the second time in a week I have not put on scrubs before surgery and there is a nurse tying my hair on top of my head.*

Aang, can I get y' ta help me get 'er neck sorted out? It's cut an artery, she's almost bled out... *I can see he's scared for her life, as am I, so I nod and run to his side, I set her up on a transfusion and an IV line, put the oxygen tubes in her nose, then proceed to help Carson*

Carson, I'm so sorry...I should have gone after her... *I can't even look at him right now or I will lose my cool and end up crying my eyes out, so I focus instead on my poor sister. We finish working on her neck and get her sewn up there, then I set to work on her stomach while Carson gets the bullet from her leg*

No, it hit her kidney, Carson! *I pull the bullet carefully, but her kidney is damaged*

It's a'right, tha'll be the least o' her problems, people survive on one kidney ev'ryday. *he doesn't look up from her leg*

*some time later, bullets all removed and sewn, we are sewing up the gashes in her arm and shoulder, as well as her forehead...she is alive, but barely as of yet*

*I look over at Carson*

Better we keep her in an induced coma until she's better...and Na'Kita too.

*sigh* Aye, y're right, Aang.

Carson...I am so sorry that I didn't go after her, save her from this...

I don' blame ye Aang, an' she won't either. Y're savin' her right now, Lass. *bloodied clothes and all, we hug for a brief second before turning back to Beck*

*I dose her with the same thing I used to keep Dell under last time, plus a low shot of pain killers because of her concussion, and then, while Carson stays by her side, I go and change and then we switch, until both of us are cleaned up and together we wheel Beck out to a spot beside Dell's bed, where I can keep an eye on both sisters, and I collapse into my seat beside Dell, who had mercifully slept through the chaos as Carson and I ran in with Beck before*

*Carson offers me a small smile before taking his spot at the other side of the bed, and A-Carson walks up behind me and starts to gently rub my shoulders, and I think to Poet: Please, come and be with Beck. She may be in a coma, but she can still feel and hear you even if she can't react to you...

*Comes walking in slowly leaving a trace of feathers behind her, tears still riunning down her face, sitting down at the floor before Beck's bed*

I'm talking to Dr. Weir in her office, trying to get Kavanaugh charged with attempted murder. Want me to try healing McBeck?

*I look at my poor sister once more, give her hand a light squeeze and then I go and sit beside Poet, pulling her into a hug*

It's alright dear, she'll live...its as much my fault as it is yours, I should have kept trying to follow her. But she will be alright with time...

Where is Tome'l?

[Aang]

Tome'l and Rollings both escaped in my modified jumper! *annoyed glare*

*looks at Aang* but I haven't done anything for her, shouldn't be here now at all I don't deserve it...even now I am not allowed to do anything, I know she would not want it...poor Beck, but she does not really need me, she as her sisters *smiles sadly, getting up and turns to leave, looking back at Beck once more*

Where did they escape to?... *visibly getting angry*

Is there anything I can do for McBeck?

*I grab Poet's hand* You are her friend, of course you should be here. You need not do anything more for her than to be here, maybe hold her hand for a while...

*to Sparky* If we knew where they escaped to, I don't guess I would be sitting here between my injured sisters, I would be out trying to find them now. She just needs rest and the best care Carson, A-Carson and I can give her.

How was your jumper modified?

It was the one Rodney had modified to have a shield instead of just the cloak, and it had a small hyperdrive core installed so I could make short hyperspace jumps in it. I'll have to beg him to help me mod one of the spares now so I can be back in action...
