*Carson looks over at Poet, using one hand to cover a yawn as he does*
A-aye. I suppose y'could be of 'elp. *his eyes start to drift shut, the shower didn't help, he thinks*
A- *stands up from the bed and walks over to Carson* Lad, go get y'self a wee bit o' sleep. Aang an' I are awake, we'll take over from 'ere.
Aye, thank ye, I think I'll do so. *he stretches and stands up, going over to where Beck is asleep in Rodney's arms, but Rodney has woken up by now and sees him coming*
She had that nightmare again, Carson. *he gives Carson a worried look*
A'right, thank ye for carin' for 'er, Rodney. *he smiles tiredly and lifts Beck from Rodney's bed, her eyes flicker open enough for her to see Carson looking down at her and she sleepily wraps her arms around him*
Beck: Where were you, my Love? *she can feel the tears as the memory of her nightmare floods back, but she is able to hold them back until the feeling subsides this time, with Carson holding her in his arms*
*he just smiles as he takes her back to her own hospital bed and sets her down, then joins her on the bed and there they fall asleep, Beck wrapped in Carson's arms*
***
A- Poet, Lass, why don't ye come wi' me. 'elp me see t' nCarson an' Gabriel over 'ere? *he points toward them* Y'can learn t' do things wi'out your powers. *he smiles at her*
*I am still between Dell and Shep's beds (how had Shep gotten back to his bed? Darn if I knew!), I've retaken my spot there and told A-Carson specifically not to move me this time*
