*Shep feels the familiar aches and pains of surgery and tries to remember where he had been right before the pain started, he sorted through images in his mind discarding each one until he got to the one in which he saw the Marine in the brig....then the next where he saw Dell standing behind him...then there was pain...he remembered now, his eyes opened and he tried to sit up, but the pain hit again and his head spun. He let it drop to the bed again.

Shep Carson? Doc? Anyone!

[Aang]

*I am sitting beside Dell, but snap to attention when I hear Shep's voice from the other side of her*

Shep, I'm here. What is it? *I make my way to be between Dell and Shep now, leaving Carson sitting beside Beck*

[Dellruby]

Shep Aang? Tell me, what happened where is Dell, is she alright? She was behind me, tell me she is alright!

*n wants to reply but the cold in her voice makes him unable to speak*I...

What?! *the air in her palms froms to icicles, which she lets float before her* I am waiting for your answer

* by now the darkness has reached her mind makng it impossible for her to really think clearly just controlled by her anger*
*Gabriel comes into the room, feeling something was rotten but as he sees his queen like that he is just unable to move staring at her*

Gabriel: my queen...please calm down

*looks at him, her face turning snow white with anger* how dare you to tell me what I do? *grabs him and throws him to the ground just as he was feather*

*turns to n again* No anwers still? *her hand shake as he puts up her arm and pushes one of the icicles through the right side of his chest*

n Lass.... *red tears run down his face as he falls forward down to her feet, lying there unconscious*

*Gabriel tries to get up behind her but Poet turns and wipes him off his feet again that he's hittng the floor so hard it leaves a nasty looking wound on his head and he passes out* no one tells me what to do!! *just stand there shaking with anger so much that even the ground seems to shake*

*Joey comes running in* Poet! what..what have you done?!

*she stares at blinded with anger* the same what I will do with you *she screams and pulls up her arm to throw icicles at him, but he dodges vanishes and appears behind her digining his fangs into her neck* I'm sorry sister but you now leave me no choce *he thinks while holding her tight to him*

You...you... *she scratches him with her long nails but even if the pain goes right through his brain he won't loosen his grip and drinks her until she leans lip against him, fainted*

Joey: I hate to do this my love *he lets her slide dpwn to the ground and then thinks to Aang: I could use some help here dear, I think it would be good if you could come and tell my sister how Dell and Beck and the others are doing if she wakes up again....I have Gabriel and nCarson wounded here sadly.....

[Aang]

*I reach out and take his hand in mine*

Shep...she'll live. She's still out cold though...I was in surgery with her for about four or five hours, I lost track. She flat lined once, but I saved her. Three bullet wounds...her ribs stopped one, the other was in her arm, those two will be superficial, no permanent damage...the third was in her leg, it severed an artery...she nearly bled out. But she'll be alright. She's right in the next bed over...

*I smile, trying to comfort him*

*I sense Joey's thought and respond: I'll come as soon as I can, I'm sorry, Shep has just woken and asked about Dell.*

*Joey thinks back* how's the situation down there? Have you still three free beds? then I will come down to you?

*Shep holds on tight to Aang's hand as the words swirl around in his head...surgery, bullets, flatlined...bled out...he has trouble connecting them together, let alone with Dell. Then the thought hits him, together they meant she almost died. Again he tries to sit up and again the pain rips through him. He turns his head instead towards her bed. He sees wires monitors a form in the bed, but his view is blocked. That can't be Dell, it just can't be*

*I think back it's calm in here right now, we do have free beds still if you would bring them here.*

*I feel his confusion and pain and I sit on the edge of the bed, gently pushing him back down and holding his hand tightly* I promise you, she will live. I've done my best to save her...It looks worse than it is right now.

*Joey appears next to Aang, with his sister, nCarson and Gabriel all three lying on the floor pale and nCarson and Gabriel still bleed from their wounds* I am sorry, it looks as bad as it is I fear, here...she totally lost her mind as she could not stay and help her friends....

*he pulls his eyes away from her bed.*
Shep What of the prisoner? I'm not sure what happened...there seemed to be bullets from every direction...was anyone killed?

[Aang]

*still not letting go of his hand, I can feel the tension in him* The prisoner escaped. I heard three voices fleeing the scene when I got there. They escaped, but I brought Lorne's team to back us up when we came in. Last I knew, no dead. Most of the injuries were minor, Dell was the only one we nearly lost.

[Aang]

*Joey appears next to Aang, with his sister, nCarson and Gabriel all three lying on the floor pale and nCarson and Gabriel still bleed from their wounds* I am sorry, it looks as bad as it is I fear, here...she totally lost her mind as she could not stay and help her friends....

*I look over to Joey* Oh...oh, I'm sorry...oh Poet!

*I look around just in time to see Carson and A-Carson coming to Joey's side, A-Carson takes Gabriel and Carson takes nCarson, but I'm torn between staying beside Shep and going to Poet*

Lorne Colonel? *looks at Aang* is it alright if I talk to him?

Aang Of course major, he is asking questions you may have the answers too. *she gets up from his bed (not as bad at it sounds I promise A-Carson), and moves away, but keeps listening.*

Shep What can you tell me major?

Lorne They got away Sir, took a jumper. Sargent's Kerr and Holland and airman Grigg. But there appears to have been a 4th gun man involved, someone who was near the back of the brig....we found shell casings, but no other signs...only 3 left in the jumper.

Shep Thank you Major. we have to find out who the 4th man is and why he didn't go with the others. Can we trace where the jumper went?

Lorne Sorry sir, they took Aangs modified jumper, the one with the cloak. *he give an "I'm sorry look" to Aang* We do know he hasn't used the gate.

Joey: the only thing that makes her that angy is when someone takes her away from friends who need help....she just blacks out then by the means of the word...it's not her fault even, its just that she loves her friends so much that eveyone who keeps her from helping them gets in serious danger, though this is not worst she can do, since it was her friends making her angry...

*opens eyes, which are still black, then turn back to normal color when she realizes where she is* Dell! Where, where is she? *looks at Shep* I...I am so sorry...nCarson took me away...forgive me *tries to get up but is too weak*
