Now Tom Baker was my favorite Dr from the old series....he had a cool hat the a scarf that looped round his neck and right down to almost ground, and each end also hung that low...I tried knitting one that long for myself...never quite managed it, but did end up knitting a blanket that that fits a double bed...lots of scarfs sewn together.
