I climb out of bed and hop to the bathroom. when I come out, again, I'm tired, man I've been doing nothing for too long! I slide down the wall and think about crawling across to the bed...there has to be a better way!*

*I look up at Joey and Gabriel* Beck doesn't hate Poet. She doesn't think Poet failed her. I just wanted to help my own sister learn to control her gift and I sort of wish I could do that without making Poet feel bad for it.

*I look down at my hands for a moment, sort of ashamed that I am only a human among my Vampire and Wraith friends...they probably think I am weak compared to them*

*I sense Dell's tiredness and seize that as the excuse to run off and not wait to be told how much better Poet could make me, I trot into my sister's room and help her to her feet and back over to the bed*

Sis, it's going to take a bit of getting used to being back on your feet...I could always get the hand device and speed up the healing a bit, might help... *I'm so used to this suggestion being shot down by now that I half expect her to tell me it won't work on her*
