Carson Beckett/Paul McGillion Thunk Thread

*comes back in carrying a very pale looking and unconsious Wraith guy, who's still got his clothes on wich are soaking wet and blood running out from a wound at his wrist, where a knife with a long blade still keeps the body from healing itself*
Carson, I need your help,please he's still alive but I was scared to pull the blade out when you are not there to put something on the cut t make it stop bleeding until he's strong enough again to heal

[Aang]

A- *looks back at me for a moment* I'll be back Love, Poet needs me. *he jumps up and helps Poet to lay Gabriel on one of the couches and inspects the wrist* A'right, he's Wraith so it will heal once I take th' blade out...*he pulls a med kit from a shelf and goes back to Gabriel*

A- *takes a cloth from the kit and puts it over the wound, slips the knife out and presses the cloth to the wound to stop the bleeding, then wraps a gauze bandage around it to hold the cloth in place before checking him over any further* Poet, Lass, would ye be a good Lass an' go get a couple of blankets from th' closet over by th' table? 'e should be fine, just a wee bit wet an' cold when 'e wakes.

*Carson checks Gabriel's pulse as best he can for what little he knows of Wraith physiology, nods and checks for breathing, nods again*

A- *smiles a bit* 'e is breathin', if a bit shallow an' maybe waterlogged. As I suspected, it'll take more'n a knife an' a bathtub t' kill a Wraith. *he looks down at the knife, where he'd dropped it on the floor after pulling it out*

S- Think he should be put on suicide watch once he comes to again?

A- Per'aps...but I do think we'll have to see...'e might do much better if 'e wakes up to 'is Queen beside him, caring for 'im. *he looks up from Gabriel to see where Poet is*

I don't know how you write the burr so well Aang. I try and it always comes out cheesy.

...When I first started, it seemed so cheesy to me too. I don't know how I do it, I guess I just automatically write the burr when I'm writing Carson...

*nodds and waslkes ovber to the closet, fetching the blankets and gives them to Carson*
Thank you Carson, I think I'll need to lock that thing away, it's my knife actually that he used...he is so silly, he should know how much I like him looking at my sig pictur here at my profile picture here and at my avatar here (if I can have my own once) all is just him....

A- Thank ye, Lass, *takes the blankets and spreads them over Gabriel a bit* An' I do think lockin' that knife away may be th' best idea for th' moment. Gabriel is a bit o' a silly Wraith t' ever think ye would stop likin' 'im because of Steve. *he shakes his head* Though I do think ye ought to stay wi' him here, so tha' when he wakes, 'is Queen will be there...

Oh. Working on Butler, are we?
Well I mean...I've been writing the burr for going on 5 months' time now...I imagine it comes naturally to me after all that time trying.

(this is now how I write stories, hurting myself doing it, and not each of my characters was as lucky as Gabriel, let me know if you want to read one maybe)

Hi Poet, Carson called me up on the communication ball I left him...I'm guessing Gabriel....*I stop talking as Carson turns the ball to show me Gabriel laid out on the couch, soaking wet and pale* ...Oh...oh my. *I look over at Poet*

(Yes well you involved my Carson in this one, so you know Gabriel would be alright if my Carson is involved....)

A- If 'e really did this because ye were lookin' at Steve, it's likely 'e wanted your attention. If ye are there when 'e wakes, I'd think it'd make 'im happier than anythin' else could. *smiles at Poet*

I would think so too. And I'm very glad he'll be alright...I would hate it if he wasn't.

(I figured as much, and my Carson could never let someone die under his watch )
