*I move so I am sitting in front of Carson and have a hand on his shoulder now as well as Beck's* I won't let anyone separate Beck from us. Just as I won't let them take Dell from us, I won't let them take Beck. We are a family here, all of us, and I won't let anyone tear us apart.

*I smile and hope I look reassuring, then I pull Beck from Carson for a moment and hug her to me, letting her cry into me for a moment before I release her back into Carson's waiting arms* I promise, I won't let anyone or anything separate any of us. *I am glad I cried out all my tears earlier with Dell, or I might have become as much of a mess as Beck, but for now, I can't cry anymore, so I settle for sitting on the floor opposite Beck and Carson, my hand on Beck's shoulder and looking up into Carson's face, and I miss Carson's smile, the sparkle that used to always be in his blue eyes...*

*Dell has sort of woken up and is looking sleepily over at the little group on the floor and I look up at her, my eyes telling her to stay with Shep and go back to sleep for a while, she's going to need the rest when Shep wakes up* *She offers a smile before resting her head back beside Shep's hand and slipping back off to sleep*

What a horrible day this 'as been... oh yeah, Shep asked earlier how did we get 'ere, on Earth I mean, n' how long 'ave we been with ye... well, we've been with ye since tha start.
We were given cloaks of our own te test & we were on'y meant te test em through out tha city, but we noticed ye tryin te convince Dell te go with ye te follow Shep's team off world, so we decided te follow ye.
I admit I dint think much about there beein' any danger until we were chased back to the gate. Then when we over 'eard tha Dell would be sent back te Earth never te return, we were quite worried. we wanned te elp 'er, but dint know 'ow without gettin' ourselves in trouble.
We decided te stay cloaked an' listen te the details & we followed Dell te 'Liz's office & we saw ye hidin outside. We 'eard exactly wha ye 'eard & we wanned te 'elp. So we decided we were goin' with ye's. I was determined tha' ye 'ad a doctor with ye an' I tried te make Beck stay behind as I dint think it safe for 'er, but tha stubborn lass wouldn't let me go with out 'er *looks at me half smiling*

I think Dell nearly found us out, when ye was dressin 'er up for tha dinner date, we were quite amused at watchin' ye fuss about an' we kinda giggled a bit before realizin' ye guys may 'ear us. Then when we were 'eadin' for tha party & we were gettin' in that limo, tha doorman nearly shut tha bloody door on us, so I kinda shoved it back open, surprised no-one noticed, tha doorman was quite confused te why tha door wouldn't close *chuckles*

Then all seemed te go te plan till someone bumped into us at tha party & I lost Beck for a bit. That was frightnin' as I thought 'ow tha 'ell am I gonna find 'er cloaked in a room so full of people. I decided to call out for 'er as it was too noisy in tha room for anyone te notice a voice commin' from thin air. she called back an' I found 'er then we rushed off te find ye lot. We noticed Dell was missin & gathered ye & Shep would be with 'er & jus' lucky we found tha right hallway to find ye. We were shocked te suddenly seen a wraith beein' beamed away when we rounded tha corner & tha state of Dell gave me a scare enough, te think then was tha best time te show me self & help Dell.

*looks down at me & I am asleep*
Oh finally. She's needed a good sleep. All tha cryin has finally tired 'er out. Say Aang, ye wanna help me get 'er up? I think I should take 'er to our temporary quarters.

Um, I hope you don't mind, A-Carson knows you're here...he called the Comm Ball while Beck and I were cleaning up Dell and you were saving Shep... *I look down at Beck* Poor Beck, I'm glad she's fallen asleep. Sure, I'll help you. *I ease Beck out of Carson's arms and he stands up, then takes the sleeping Beck from my arms and sets off to take her to our quarters*

I would go back to our quarters and sleep myself, but I promised Dell I wouldn't leave her alone here, because even if he's going to be fine...she's still been hit hard by Shep's injury. *I look over at the sleeping Dell and can't help but chuckle, then turn back to Carson and hug him as best I can around Beck* I still have my comm link though, do call me if you or Beck needs me for anything and I'll be there in a heartbeat.

*I turn and go back to my position beside Dell, but don't sit down until I've eased a small pillow beneath her head an a blanket over her shoulders, then I settle back into my chair to keep her company*

A- C'mon Lad, 'ave a seat on th' couch and we'll watch some SG-1, put yer focus on a certain blonde Lt. Colonel fer' a bit.

Oh, great, we get to watch Sam? *he smiles a little dreamily, then remembers Beck and snaps out of it*

A- Aye, Lad. We'll get to see Samantha in these episodes. Thought ye might like tha' to keep yer mind occupied.

*Rodney sits down at one end of the couch and Carson turns on the TV and DVD player, fetches the Comm Ball from the bedroom just in case, and then takes his spot in "our" spot on the couch, at the other end and the two begin watchin SG-1*

Rodney, you do realize that you don't have a snowball's chance in HE** in getting Sam, don't you?
