(hey thanks Beck, this is what I was thinking the dress looked sort of like before I tweaked it)



(But I had a moment when I "saw" it and I thought I'd make it more...subtle than this one for Dell's sake. Somehow can't see her being too comfortable in a dress like that and decided I'd pull out my fashion skills and tweak the dress a bit so as not to piss Shep off too much)

Dell, you go shower and get the dress on, I'll see what we have to work with for accessories and shoes. And yes Shep, I'll give her something to at least cover the top bit of the dress with if it makes you feel any better. *wanders back to the closet, where she pulls out a black handbag, a pair of black heels and a shawl*

OK so here's this and...hell no...*grabs her own small bag from the corner and pulls it open, taking another shawl out, this one less see-through, as well as a pair of black flat sandals, checks the size on the sandals to the size on the heels* Okay, nobody ask why I have formal wear in my bag...just nobody ask...and nobody tell A-Carson please. *lays out her shawl, with the heels beside it, then the black handbag with the flat sandals tucked inside it*

Okay now we've got a proper shawl, plus the heels Dell will wear for a while. I've tucked these sandals into the handbag just in case because I know how painful heels can be and the last thing we need is Dell going crippled on us because of the heels...Does she need anything else?

* I come out of the bathroom (thought about in a towel, but to many males in the room)
in the dress*
Oh cute heels! ok, up here *reaches onto a shelf in the closet and pulls out a makeup bag*
Time to put my face on *goes back into the bathroom, but leaves the door open this time*

*wanders in to watch Dell "put her face on"* Hmm at least he had the sense to let a female match the makeup colors to the dress...well I guess you were right about needing back-up and asking me to come along...*laugh a bit*

(oh did he? Well I can guess he would. If the dress was meant for Shep and not some other guy, I don't think Shep would mind it either...)

Yes, I think I did hear giggling. Ah wait one moment!

*turns Dell so I can see her face and looks at her hair* Hmm...I'm thinking...ah-ha! *runs off to her own bag for a moment to pull out one last thing* Well, as I see it, we're trying to turn the outfit-gone-wild into something elegant and attractive, but Dell-style, so we'll go simple on the hair. *has a pretty silver clip with a small diamond butterfly on it and goes back over to Dell* *clips one side of Dell's hair back slightly with the butterfly and brushes the rest so the other side of her face is framed by the hair, and combs the bangs into order*

(now I've got this mental image of what all this looks like, and Dell honey, you look lovely. Might have to dress you up like this for Shep sometime...)

(Hmmm, don't think he and I have ever actually been on a date, oh wonder if that is one of the thinks that is pissing him off?)
*I look in the mirror* Oh that is pretty! *I slip the heels on, can't see the full effect because there is no full length mirror. I walk out to the main room*
Well how do I look, will I do?
*Sheps mouth drops open, but he says nothing*
*I turn back to Aang* Well?
