Um well, in my fic universe where Mystery Lover and them happened, Elizabeth is the Commander of Atlantis still...and that would put Shep as Military Commander...I never was a huge fan of Woolsey and I didn't like how Carter was written for SGA purposes (except the scene when she told Woolsey to shut up....loved that one)...So I suppose it's Elizabeth?
Wait, let me find my comm link. I hope they're due back before I go to bed (it's near 2am)...I'd never sleep soundly worrying about Carson! *looks around and finds the Comm Link headset sitting on the table*
Elizabeth, do we have an estimated TOA for Sheppard's team and Carson to return?
They're due back any time now. I'd expect them back within the next hour or so. We just made the check in and they were headed back to the Gate.

Well I'm too impatient to sit around here and wait! Might as well head for the Gate Room and wait for them there, more room for impatient pacing while we wait.
Though I do confess, I'm a wee bit confused. My choices of action when Carson returns are kiss and hug the stuffing out of him or confront him about why he didn't tell me he was going.Comment

Well they are both back safe and sound, and Carson won't be going again for a while....but Shep is on active duty, so he will be going back out soon! When he does I will be relying on you and Carson, hell all of the Carsons, Sparky, Beck Poet and anyone else I can find to keep me sane.
