Yeah, Mmmmmmhm. I really got around to doing my laundry. Pft not. *fell asleep for two hours and then spent like the last hour talking to my room mate*

Well. I got lessons while at school too, but it was right on exam time....5th from, school cert, they were the bigs ones back then...had a name change and they call them "year whatever" now.
So it would be NCEA in year 11....so since I didn't like the man who was teaching me...he yelled a lot, I gave up the lessons....mum and dad were not pleased since they were paying for them. I went back on my own and got my licence when I was 20....then a month later I has a job that involved driving a company van. I like driving.....I think I would make a good rally driver....not the map reader.

Carson was suited up in the...WHAT. Carson didn't tell me he was going on a mission...I had no idea! And he knows how I worry for him when he's off world! Why would he go without telling me?

Maybe that was the reason he didn't tell you, cuz you worry so much.
But at least he is with Shep, you know he will bring him back and in one piece too!

You're probably right about that, actually...
If you hadn't noticed, Shep is a bit of a trouble magnet when off-world...but I do trust he'll bring Carson back in one piece, I just worry because I love Carson so much and well, if anything happened to him...it'd break my poor heart (which is already a little fragile where Carson's well being is concerned)...

You had to say that bit about the trouble magnet didn't you....now you have me worried! And I'm remembering all the times he has put himself in danger because he had to save a friend. I just have to keep in mind that it is different now, he has someone to come back too, hopefully he won't be so willing to give his life up.

Umm...Carson's also a bit of a trouble magnet, mind...but you saw the future, you know Shep's coming back! I'm just hoping that Carson doesn't get himself in a pickle and be that friend that Shep puts himself in danger for...Crap there I go making up reasons to worry now! *sits down in her usual corner of the couch and suddenly notices how empty it feels without Carson beside her* *one lone tear drips down her cheek*

It never crossed my mind who else was on his team in that bit...but there were no calls for a med team or any of the other usual suspects when something's amiss, so I'm guessing everyone was alright...

I begin to understand why Sam Carter...never mind you haven't seen that far into SG-1 yet...Well let's just say I understand something now that hardly made sense to me before.

(And now I have a nagging plot bunny for another 'Carson' ficlet though, it's time I wrote my own mind-melting fic after I finish off Jae'a and Radek...)

Well since I've sort of turned Mystery Lover, Whispers of Love and Love Grows (that last one is to be Jae'a's) into like...the universe I write 99% of my fictions in...it would only be right if my own ficlet matched the others (My, I get to melt my own brain on purpose, this should be fun!)...
And yes, I heard Sparky had asked you to write um, certain scenes, in the Valentines' Day fiction she's working on because you have more experience with such things...
As for your first full story, I can't wait to read it and see how you really write when you're not running on a deadline (Gifts, the Jack O Lantern one that escapes me? etc.) or borrowing my style (My Angel, which still remains my favorite of your fics to date...)
