I know I didn't want to be known as writing them at one stage because when I went to the Con there was a girl (who looked a bit rough, it would fair to say)Ask the guy from Smallville if he had ever read any of the fanfics, then went on to say they were all basically porn.
Well I have managed to read a good number now, and Only 2 had sex scenes, and of them only one scared the hell outta me....I didn't get far, as soon as I realized that was where Rodney and Shep were headed I got out of there fast, and you talked me down off the roof!

Ehh, the content of the fic depends on the writer's tastes. I like a slightly less graphic approach, I'll rarely get past the K+ or T rating on a fiction I write myself and if I do, it'd probably never get published, just be a mental exercise for myself. Sometimes I think the fics that don't spend a lot of time in the gutter are written by more mature writers and that it's the hormone imbalanced teens writing the truly horrifying ones.

Oh yes, I do remember that particular day. You were pretty jumpy about that for a bit and a bit more clingy to Carson than I think I'd ever seen you before or since...

Oh, and I forgot to mention the bits FG sends me....never met her characters away from the bedroom, but they are the normal type of pairing, and they are characters I don't know from shows.

Ok Sparky I will stop holding you to account for it, and read the rest happily. BTW, I kind of skimmed over that part...from the moment the black lace was mentioned until they were done, so I can't actually say how much detail was there!
I have to say though, in my one that I finished the first draft of last week, I have two of them, but I don't go in for detail, I set the scene, and leave the rest for the reader to make up.

That's what I usually do. Leave things to the readers imaginations. I prefer it that way. I was in a mood... so my normal way of doing things went out the window!

Oops sorry for the delay, was writing a particularly dramatic scene for my original story (Lol I lie, particularly dramatic perhaps for my story but nothing compared to most of Atlantis in general...heh) and got a wee bit caught up in whumping the OC that is fondly based on my best friend...heh.

Well you got it out of your system but I won't be objecting much tonight as I keep dozing off and this is gonna' be another of those nights where I doze off while typing in my Fanfic and then *BOOM* laptop does updates and eats half my story, I can just see it now. And I'd rather not chase my muse off just yet, I've finally got her back in my grips and I'd hate to lose her again. So I -am- gonna try to get some sleep soon. While I still have the opportunity to save my stories properly.

True. The reason I'm off by midnight at the latest, is because I don't want to get caught being on the computer that late.

lol same here, even though I am 22 & a half, I still live at home with my dad & step mum. Me & Dee (step mum) work together - she is my boss, so she knows if I don't get enough sleep, i'm not as alert at work. I don't have curfew or a set "bed time" by my parents, but I get in trouble if I'm still awake past midnight on a weekday. So I make my bedtime 11:30, but if I'm up still after that, then I'm like crap, hope I don't get caught.

Yeah, but I don't think that I'm that much older than you. So I shouldn't talk about going to bed at a civilized hour.

Hey another Voyager fan! My favorite Star Trek My fav character would have to be Seven Of Nine, with Capt. Janeway & Commander Chakotay 2nd

Might not be too bad considering the original story DOES have a Carson character...so I could probably blend the two without too much pain

So I took that "Why Carson Doesn't Spar" idea from the other day. I wrote a fiction for it, but Carson sorta took it out of my hands and ran his own direction with it. Heh If you ever want to read it...I am sort of proud of it though, I'm proud of just how sort of dramatic it ended up sounding, but it ends up being so simple. Heh.
