Actually it's not all that complicated except for separating the chapters. Admittedly I did stuff it up good though...accidentally deleted half of Chapter 2 and had to go back to the original file to fix it xD

Holy crap, Dell, I just realized I have almost 500 posts on GateWorld and about 99% of them are here on the Carson/Pauly thread

I'm altogether not sure, I think it was in like...mid September sometime but I didn't spend as much time here every day at that point as I do now. Took me a week or so to get to know what was happening around here xD

Hell once I signed up I jumped in with both feet!....I had been lurking for a while, so I had a bit of a feel for the place...I think I was off probie by the 4th day!

I think it took me two days or so to get past Probie to be honest, but I was determined to because I was getting angry at all the restrictions as probie xD

But I also chose a thread that really only has two active times during the day. Morning when Sparky and I post and then right now when you and I post xD I only venture off Carson's thread when I see something worth my while, like Shep in a suit...

Shep in a suit is a really good reason to wander, just don't leave the path like I did. I'm still having nightmares!

Don't worry, I pick my way through carefully. I did wander over to stare at Shep in a suit, but I'm really careful about FanFics. I read the summary and rating and even sometimes the reviews...

What I don't understand is why so many people who write Beckett fics write him as such an emotional wreck all the time. I mean yeah, he can be emotional...yes, he's so incredibly gentle and kind and he can be scared at times, terrified even...and a stint in Atlantis can be traumatizing when you end up in some of the stickier situations...but he's not THAT much of a flake...is he? Not every fic has to be Carson emotional whump. Give the poor Doc a break, for God's sake. *Scottish accent*

He didn't handle it well in the beginning, but he came into his own pretty quickly I think. I have never written him as a flake. He is always the strong caring type, the one you want to turn to when your hurting.
(yeah ok, if he was standing next to Shep, I'd go to him before Carson, but that is for other reasons altogether)

...But Carson is just...so human. Makes me wanna' hug him. I read so many Carson fics that whump the poor guy so hard and I like a good whumpin' but some people just take advantage of his humanity and over-abuse him a bit...
