Ahh yes, wouldn't be the first time I've seen that wonderful episode. I er, streamed the entire series online once. Just got tired of watching on my laptop screen so I ordered the DVDs. Also, I needed them for my Stargate DVD collection - I have all 10 SG-1 seasons and all the Stargate movies already xD

I sorta thought maybe, but I'm so tired I didn't catch on as fast as I could have xD Honestly, I kinda had an inkling after I realized your name, that maybe the character Elizabeth had something to do with you watching SGA and being a fan of the Elizabeth&Shep relationship. My love for Stargate came because it was the only 'connection' TV-wise that I had with my dad and older brother. Then I got addicted because I fell in love with Sam...I'm blonde and I always got the brunt of the blonde jokes among my friends and my brother, so like, the genius blonde carrying a P-90? Total epic win. I think you know what, or rather who, got me addicted to Atlantis though...someone with a lovely Scottish accent and a specific pair of gorgeous blue eyes, on whose thread we have gotten very, very off topic...LOL!

Ohh yes, Laura. I think it's kind of cute how obvious it is that she's got a thing for Carson right from the start of the episode xD

...Right, you have a point there, I think the Mods haven't gotten involved because we always somehow turn the thread back to Carson & Paul at some point, no matter how off-topic we get xD

It was definitely Carson that made me addicted to SGA. Started with a few eps here & there of SG1, but didn't get into it until a friend showed me like two or so eps of SGA, (one being Tao Of Rodney), which got me liking Rodney straight away, then I saw Carson & thud! I was in love & had to buy the box set, & watched the entire Atlantis series & now coz of Carson I am totally addicted to SGA.

Then decided to start the SG1 series & couldn't wait for the Torment Of Tantalus in which I knew Paul would be in it. Now I look forward to more Rodney eps, have already seen his first ever appearance in 48Hrs & omg what an ass! but I still love him, I know what he becomes so it all good lol.

Also recently I bought the first season of Sanctuary, I was thinking about getting it because its Amanda Tapping, but when I found out Paul was in it, I was like, I gotta get it.
Then just the other day I was looking at Once Upon A Time & thinking Ive been interested in seeing this since it started, I should really get it, then thought come on Pauly's in it just get it! So I did! lol

Well, see, Sanctuary was the reason Amanda Tapping left Stargate so I wanted to hate it so much. But then Pauly was in it. So I gave in and started watching. xD

As for that first Rodney episode in SG-1, ooooh I hated Rodney at that point because he bothered Sam so much. ...Then SGA came along and Rodney grew on me. A lot. Partly because he and Carson are friends and yeah. And when I found out Pauly was the young Ernest Littlefield...I started loving SG-1 even more than before.

...I watched the first 10 episodes of Once Upon a Time ages ago, then recently found out Pauly was in it and started watching again. xD

...and I loved the 2009 StarTrek movie already, then I made the connection that Pauly was in it...and now I love it even more (though I half wish he'd gotten the part of Scotty)...

I know about the Star Trek 2009 movie. Why he didn't get the part of Scotty is beyond me, but it might have something to do with bankability. The guy that got the part was more well known than Paul. But still, you should see some profile shots from the old Star Trek tv series. The resemblence between James Doohan and Paul McGillion is eerie!

Yes, I would of much prefered Pauly to be Scotty & have a bigger part but at least he is in it at all, even if it is a small part.

The guy that got the Scotty part is a comedian actor & they wanted a funny Scotty I still would prefer cute Pauly - Scotty, I mean come on Pauly is Scottish & can do the accent... grrr, that's the bit I didn't like about the movie, Paul wasn't Scotty...

JJ Abrams wanted Simon Pegg for Scotty. But Chris. Freaking. Doohan. wanted Paul. And all the SGA fans wanted Paul too. Whyyyyy?!

...But I did show my friend the part Pauly did play in the Star Trek movie and she was totally mind blown xD She was like 'he was in it? I'm probably gonna kick myself when I see what part he played.' and I was like yep, I already did kick myself. xD

But yes, that movie would have been even more epic had Pauly been Scotty. Dang accent would have melted me.

...Also why does my status name say Black Dog? I feel kinda degraded xD

I dunno if there's a clip around somewhere of it, but when all the Starfleet Cadets get called out to deal with trouble on Vulcan, Pauly is one of the men directing the Cadets to their respective ships, specifically the one who tells Kirk and Bones that Kirk won't be allowed on the Enterprise because he cheated on Spock's Kobayashi test.
