Yeah, when I asked for an epi they just gave it to me. The second time I had to wait and they gave me a painkiller before and I felt uncomfortably drunk. By the time I got the epi it had worn off. God it was hard to not move when a contraction hit!

After that first injection, I didnt' feel a thing!

See and they didn't give me anything before giving me the epi. I mean, the anesthesiologist was available right away with Elijah so I got it right away but they didn't give me anything to help with the pain of the contractions while they stuck a needle into my spine.

THEN I had an adverse reaction to the epi at one point in time during Elijah's labor because I got too much of the medicine. I was numb from the lungs down and couldn't breathe.. Fun, huh??

By the time I got the epi for Noah, it was time to push so that was nice.
