Peeking in after a long period of absence. Hello!

Sorry to not have come to geek out over Paul in ages. Grad school has taken over much of my life. But I wanted to steal a moment to check in again. I see lots of new faces since I was here. Nice to meet you all! And hello to any old friends who are still here!

I also wanted to ask. I'm going to All-Con in Dallas in two weeks (no Paul, but the wonderful John Billingsley and Bonita Friedericy will be there) and was curious if anyone else from the thread is planning to go, since I met a number of you at a previous Dallas con.

I hope you're all well! Can't wait to catch up on what Paul's been doing lately. I see some beautiful pictures just on this page.

Hi to SETI_fan, I recognise your name from way back in this topic - welcome back!

You had some good points, CRF, and of course we need to keep all of that in mind. Still, there's no reason for anyone to be rude, if you're a celebrity or not.
That being said I'll keep those words in mind when I see Jason. Depends on his mood, does it? Well, I'm only getting an autograph, so no worries there.

Just make sure you smile. I don't know... Jason can be a little intimidating. Haha. But he has seriously got the sweetest smile. It's actually at the autograph table where people have their rude experiences with him. So yeah... I don't really know what to say in terms of advice... just start up some conversation I guess. Then he can't really ignore you.

I hope nobody hates me for this, but I find that MS is a little like that... uppity. He just seems a little full of himself. He's not rude at all, but he really seems to think he's gods gift to everyone! I don't like that attitude any more than indifference or rudeness. But I will say when I got my photo op with MS and AT last year, they were both really funny and playful, so that made it great at least!

Interesting comment about MS too...I sometimes get that vibe from him too, but usually he's pretty nice and funny.

ME TOO. I mean, he's very sweet, as I've heard (never met him, but I really want to...) but he does seem a little up himself. I don't know why... it's just a vibe I get. Especially with the whole 'leaving the show' thing... I don't know. All seemed a little arrogant to me. *shrugs* But yes, he is still amazingly sweet.

Lol, I did exactly the same thing although I mostly just scrolled past the chat looking for the pics I'll post more pics of Paul later on, but I want to go watch some Youtube vids of him now, so you'll all just have to wait I did watch 2 episodes of Atlantis - "Instinct" and "Conversion" - which both had lots of Carson in them but it wasn't enough, I need to see Paul as himself - that does the trick Trouble is, after I've seen vids of Paul being his wonderful self on Youtube, I always go a bit ditzy afterwards - it's all Paul's fault for making me love him so much!
