I also have a question: why do some people's screencaps turn out normal, but other people's turn out a bit...squishy (meaning I have to stretch them a bit in Microsoft Word)?

Life here is just full of Pauly- lots of thunking, adoration, some drooling, some gutter-diving, frying of brain cells, and general giddiness.
I do like coming here.

I have friends who actually d/l the entire first season and liked it.
Then again, these are the kind of people who also think that watching a porno together is a nice way to spend an evening.
I've seen ads for the next one coming up, something about some guy oh noes possibly dying?? on a planet?? Will he makes it out alives?? Woe!!
I yelled "good, I hope you DIE!" at the television...husband came in and laughed.

I have friends who actually d/l the entire first season and liked it.

I d'loaded the first few episodes or so (just because I'm in the UK doesn't mean I have Sky One) and although I liked it to start with, it didn't seem to get any better - plus there was too much of the whole "using communication stones" to get back to Earth. The only characters I liked were Nicholas Rush (no, not in that way - I just think he's a good character) and Eli. The rest were kinda 'ho-hum'. Sure, the special effects were brilliant but the plotlines were a bit meh. And I was so hoping I'd really like it...oh well, I've always got Atlantis and SG-1 - they're far superior Plus they have awesome characters like Carson, Rodney, Elizabeth, Jack, Teal'c, Daniel, Vala, etc. etc.!

Wish I could go to Gatecon, but it's impossible - I just can't afford it! I'll have to wait until there's something in the UK...
