absolutely loooooooved the carson moments tonite but i was a bit upset at his darker side.....

I think he was a bit upset at his darker side as well. Carson didn't look happy at all.

I think Paul plays that so well. You really feel Carson's pain in these circumstances. It started with "Poisoning the Well" and he has continued to show Carson's humanity every since.

Definitely. Carson is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. Like Rodney, you can always tell what Carson is feeling about something, and in Michael you can see that he's profoundly uncomfortable with what's happening and what he has to do.

Since I had been expecting this ep. for so long, the way Carson is didn't bother me as much as I thought it would, especially since it is obvious that he is not sure they are doing the right thing. Also, most of the characters acted differently from the way they usually do because this is not a situation that they deal with all the time. I really just didn't like the ep. and how dark (literally and figuratively) it was in general.

Ok, now back to the thunking!
