My desktop wallpaper has now changed...before it was the infamous Browder/Shanks kiss from Comic Con a few years back...I swore that one would never leave my desktop...

Please do! Ive only gotten to page 27 and havent found much...I was going on random pages ( thats how I found Hot Scot in a Kilt ) ...but since I was bored...I thought I would start from Page 1 and go from there...

Transcribed "A Day In the Life Of" by Paul McGillion from the SG-1 Magazine!
I bought the magazine yesterday, and when I read this I was nearly in tears from laughing so hard. So I figured I would share ^____^

SPOILERS for future eps! Mainly "The Hive".


Date: Thursday June 16th, 2005

4:30AM
Alarm goes off to my dismay. As I press snooze, I beg the sleep gods for a few more minutes! Nine minutes later, alarm goes off again. Screw it, I’m up!

4:45AM
In the jeep, workout gear on, I’m amazed to wind up at the gym, without recollecting the drive there.

5:30AM
Workout is over, thank god! At least I feel coherent now. Ice cold shower, and I’m back in the jeep en route to Bridge Studios for a full day on set!

6AM
Arrive at circus, our 3rd AD, greets me with a big smile. How the hell she manages that big a smile at 6am is beyond me.

6:10AM
Tossing back some Cheerios on my way to hair and make-up. The girls always manage to keep me smiling. The Best of Christopher Walken – Saturday Night Live is on the tube in the trailer. Great way to get make-up done!

6:30AM
On set for blocking – scene 25 from episode The Hive. Just myself and David Hewlett (McKay) – always a treat, especially if he’s had his morning coffee.

6:45AM
Back to trailer. Who can I call at this hour and piss off? (I’ll be kind…) David pops by and we run the scene a few times. Very intense scene for David – where’s he’s basically going through withdrawal symptoms, and I have to put up with his shenanigans.

7:30AMBack on set, ready to shoot. Intense scene where David is strapped to a gurney – perfect opportunity for me to pluck his nose hairs. Ha ha! Martin Wood is directing and the scene goes tremendously well. As much as I make fun of David, he is a tremendous actor and I admire his dedication as he comes off the gurney 5lbs lighter, after trying to lunge poor old Dr. Beckett during the scene.

Jump ahead to 10:45AM
Scene 28 – enter Torri Higginson (Dr. Weir) looking as gorgeous as ever. What a relief! I was getting fed up of looking at David. A calming scene, where David has finally passed out, and we pretend we care about his well-being.

LUNCH – 1PM
I go for the full meal deal! I’ve wasted a lot of energy trying to be the nice guy all morning. Catfish with a little chocolate milk to wash things down – yum! Pop by Rachel Luttrell’s trailer (Teyla) and see what she’s up to. She’s been on second unit all day fighting with sticks. She’s petite and sexy, yet I’m frightened. I must admit I enjoy my lab, it’s safe and warm!

2:30PM
On to scene 33. Post McKay freak out. I’m supposed to release him from the straps in this scene, but to be honest, I’m tempted to leave him there all afternoon because it’s nice to see him still for a change! Marin agrees with me and we leave him for a minute to wallow in his own self-pity! We’ve managed to find humor today, even though these scenes have been quite a challenge.

4PM
Beckett’s on a relax, which means nap time – oops, maybe not! Brigitte, our publicist, arrives at my trailer door, introducing to me Arnaud from a French sci-fi magazine. We manage to get through the language barriers, and have a great little chat. Maybe he has a sister? That would be good!

5:15PM
Called to set, no nap, to block scene 77 with the entire cast, end of episode. Everyone is in fine form – and the jokes are flying. It’s not often we find ourselves all together on set at the same time. Alex, our terrific 1st AD, tries to keep a lid on us, but to no avail. I manage to get my only line of the scene cut. Which means, I get to watch and listen in this scene. A nice change of pace! It’s OK to be a mute sometimes…

6:30PM
I think I’m wrapped! 12 hours later… but alas… John Murphy from the Lowdown is on set to interview me. Specifically – he’s here to get the scoop about a certain intimate moment in the episode Duet. We do an improve scenario to match the interview done by David Hewlett earlier in the day. One take and it’s all. Murphy seems entertained by the way the interview has turned out – that can’t be a bad thing! Hope the fans get a kick out of it!

7:30PM
Call sheet in hand, I’m heading home. A little left-over Catfish, review my lines for tomorrow… and some sweet dreams about suffocating Hewlett with a pillow… all in all a fabulous day on Stargate:Atlantis!
