Wow. I can't say I'm hugely surprised (Skiffy's bitten me on too many of my other beloved shows already to not expect them to cancel another one), though the timing did surprise me a bit. I didn't even know the show's future was being debated already. Huh. It's a real shame, though I'll admit my fervor for the show has gone downhill a bit since certain changes were made. Doesn't make me less sad to lose it, though.

Hm, starting to wonder if Paul made a smart choice choosing to only come back for a few episodes this season. It's given him a whole extra year over the others to search for non-SG work. Still, with a special TV movie to do, I'd bet they could lure him back to film that. (And I think they'd be foolish not to include Beckett in a movie meant to, if not end the series, at least put a decent conclusion on some of the plots. I don't know if they could get Torri Higginson to return, but it'd be right to include her too.)

Bummer. Just makes me glad that Galactica has already set its terms to go out on and Doctor Who is owned by the BBC, and so its future is out of SciFi's hands. Otherwise, I'm really not going to have much to watch in the coming seasons.

Hm, does this free up the actors to work on Starcrossed now? And Sanctuary? I'm sensing major casting crossovers in the future...

Aw, now I just thought of David Hewlett and Rachel Luttrel with new babies and no job. I know they'll rebound fine, but that's got to be a scary moment for a parent.

Ok folks...I can't say I'm surprised by the news. The cast will bounce back, but this will probably be the last season all of them will work together. I didn't know Jason was expecting another baby...Is he still with Lisa Bonet? I know that's the mom of his first kid. Doesn't matter...he can't produce an ugly kid...pleez he's hot! As for our Paul, he'll bounce back too. So T.J. in London please keep us posted on Paul's next project. We're going to continue to support our boy. I'm hoping that he gets his own series, and I don't care what type of character he plays, I just want to see him on TV on a weekly basis.

Man, I'm not shocked but I am surprised and very disappointed. I had hoped for a more noticeable Carson return in Season 6.

On the upside, I won't worry about upgrading to a HD box from my cable company (only way to get SciFI in HD here) so I'll save $$$. Without SGA, I won't be watching SciFi...ever.

I'm not sure what it is, but I love Beckett's face in that first pic, queen_hathor. Paul knows what's coming, Beckett doesn't, but he sees McKay approaching (walking like Cadman) and grabbing his jacket, nowhere good this is going, but it's too fast to even show surprise before they're liplocked. lol A scene that's even better in slow-motion and screencaps.

Congratulations to Jason being a dad again! Hadn't heard that one, but great news for him!

Thanks for the pics...the cheering up worked...at least mostly...it still s****!
And to tell the truth the prospect of a atlantis movie following will only be a comfort for me if it will have my sweet little Scot and Lizzie in it!

But I love the duet caps, especially the last ones. I had to cap that scene once for an animated icon and laughed tears while doing it b/c of Paul/Carson's face!
Paul saw it coming, Carson didn't! It's just too hilarious and cute!
