well team-thunker... i don't know, the team is so big at SGA.
Paul is my absolute favourite. I would put Sheppard up next together with Lorne)
Zelenka is cute, but not hot, i think i like Zelenka better then Mckay though.
well then you had sergeant Bates who had "something" and Peter Grodin (allthough i found him mighty english, a bit too english)
And off all the ladies i liked Cadman and Weir best, never was a Sam fan.

Only one i'd thunk on though is Carson and maybe Lorne)

I am not a shipper, but the pairings Carson-Cadman and Carson-Weir (she seemed the only one concerned about him now and again) would be my most logic choices.
and if you are into that Slash thing maybe Carson-Sheppard. (allthough for the live of me i cannot see Carson being gay, lol)

any shippers here? (starting new discussion maybe?) or do we want to have Carson/Paul all for ourselves) (i think that would be preferable though)

Mines is Carson, McKay, then even one else. I really like everyone expect for one person who shall remain nameless. As for shippers, I am ok with it as long as the characters have chemistry. I didn't mined Carson/Cadman. I liked Cadman's spunk. I also though her and McKay had pretty good chemistry too. Him and Wier would have been cute.

How about just taking a look next time you post and, if your convo is just between two or three of you and goes on and on, maybe that's time to take it to PM, or to make a thread in Off Topic where you can chit chat to your hearts content while this thread remains centered around Paul and Carson

Well - I must confess I'm not much in shipping, slashstories etc. I don't talk much about what could be and "the ones would make a pretty couple". I don't condemn it when somebody does. But I'm not into that stuff. And I love them all (SG1 and SGA) because of their different characters. Zelenka is not really sexy (to me) but I love his attitude and seeming clumsyness. I love Carson most of the characters of SGA because he really is/was the heart of Atlantis, it's conscience. And it's scotsman xD. And he is beautiful to look at *hrrhrr*

I love the whole team as well. My very favorite team members are Carson and Sheppard, but as soon as I mention that I feel compelled to say how much I love McKay, and Ronon, and of course the girls too....

Hmmmm......shipping. Well - I have to say for the moment, I like having Carson to ourselves Although he was very cute with Cadman, and I wouldn't have objected if the series had gone down that path. I've never been a slash gal - it's so very out of character to make straight characters gay, it doesn't work for me. I don't see Carson paired off with Teyla or Elizabeth, either.

Both terms I was completely unfamilar with until coming to this site! Thunking seems to be admiring the hotness and other drool-worthy qualities of a character, whumping seems to be enjoying the scenes where a character gets hurt physically or emotionally.

Now to catch up on more of thread!

I've been feeling a little poorly and not really having the energy to post, but I wanted to let everyone know how much I have been enjoying the discussion and of course the lovely pics

As a whole I define myself as a "passive shipper". This means I have my preferred ships but would not like to see them canonized. I liked the way SGA handled it in the first three seasons - there were those subtle, subtextual signals that shippers could define as their "shippy moment" and others could take it at face value or leave it. (Many fans including myself have been rather irksome over the implied in-your-face relationships in S4 but I will not get into that.)

As for Carson shippiness - I have a soft spot for Carson/Teyla. I just really like their interaction together which I hope to see more of. I also liked Carson/Laura while it lasted. But mostly Carson/Teyla.

I'm not really a slasher girl which may surprise some given that I can see slash everywhere out of any kind of entertainment. I think that's why I'm not so much into slash. I see it everywhere, and it passes over my head. Though I do like to joke about it.

Still I'm more of a friendshipper. I love my team.
