.:O_O; Whoa now. I'm not that far along yet, lol!
      Spoiler:
Sorry, I jumped too far ahead, Haliyah. The sentence says, "Good luck with your German course." but more in the sense of 'I hope you'll be very successful with it.'

Sorry to interrupt, but do you use the spelling of "schp" only as a graphic reminder of having to use the "sh" sound preceding the "p" or do you actually spell it like that? Because in German it is spelled "sprechen" but pronounced "shprechen".
Regarding "'tschuldigung", it's not that easy: In a more formal conversation, like when talking to your boss or colleagues you aren't friends with, you would definitely have to use "Entschuldigung", "'tschuldigung" is quite limited to informal contexts like talking to friends or family, much like "Thank you" vs. "Thanks" but a bit stricter.
Furthermore, "please" and "you're welcome" aren't synonyms. Both can be translated as "bitte", but for "you're welcome" I would recommend to say "Gern geschehen".

What a naughty title! I'm shocked. But it probably lets you get a hang on the pronuciation of German, which is actually a very good thing. But I sincerely hope you don't have the impression now that ALL Europeans are crazy... *offers innocent smile*
And of course I'd love to volunteer for teaching some German. Just drop me a line via eMail, anytime. You already have my eMail address, don't you?

.:Hey, no prob. I'd rather be there than here, lol!

The sentence says, "Good luck with your German course." but more in the sense of 'I hope you'll be very successful with it.'
.:Thank you! At present, until I find a proper one, my 'course' mainly consists of casually perusing German-English dictionaries and text-messaging Franz asking what "______" means.

Sorry to interrupt, but do you use the spelling of "schp" only as a graphic reminder of having to use the "sh" sound preceding the "p" or do you actually spell it like that? Because in German it is spelled "sprechen" but pronounced "shprechen".
.:Nope, I misspelled that. I stared at it for a while and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. *shakes head* Like, DUH! >.<

"Thanks" but a bit stricter.

.:LeGasp, it's USEFUL! *awe* O: THANK YOU. AGH.
.:Could you please type out "Gern geschehen" phonetically? I could guess, sure, but that usually ends in embarrassment. Also: why it rather than "bitte?" It makes more sense to my brain having more than one word for...more than one word, but what's the direct translation?

.:LOL! Did I not say he was a naughty, cheeky man? xD Actually, yes, it does, at least what parts have words. It's mostly techno...but it has words...it's weird. *shrugs* Lord, you should see the song titles!

.:No, just the ones I know, apparently!

And of course I'd love to volunteer for teaching some German. Just drop me a line via eMail, anytime. You already have my eMail address, don't you?
.:OMG YAYZ. O: Thank you so much! I heart learning.

        .:Yes, I believe I do...the q.tunnel one?
Seems I never get my mind out of the gutter when I keep hanging around here; not that I'd mind
        .:Of course not, lol!

Massive thanks to those who spotted this and alerting us. Paul/Beckett's return makes TV Guides 'Hot List' for next week!

          STARGATE ATLANTIS

          Friday February

It's old home week when Stargate faves Paul McGillion and Connor
Trinneer return as the not-so-dead Beckett and the totally deadly
          Michael.
          ***********

And don't forget to write the media on his return! We want some MASSIVE ratings for this show! If you have a TiVO/DVR RECORD it, even if you are home. Its a way to be counted in the ratings somewhat even if you're not a Nielson family. Also, if you are in the US and can afford $1.99 buy it off iTunes! That too goes into consideration. Every little bit helps! Lets prove to them we are happy Carson is back and want to see MORE!!!

I know I will buy both parts from Itunes. My boss gave me the opinion of working this Friday night or next Friday night? I bet you can guess what night I picked to have off.

Probably for the best. Tears of joy usually blur your vision, and that's not a good thing when watching "The Kindred".

So, this means, you can read the books while having a snack and a chat? It sounds nice.

Thanks twinny. It's not so bad, I passed a few but not with the grades I wanted. I guess I didn't work so hard as I should have.
But I'm glad that I was missed. That is always nice to hear.

Sorry, I really don't know about the bookstores but the bribary has worked miracles on me! Keep that up. *thread hugs back*

And Oda, there are tons of bookstores in just about every city in the US. (When we travel in my family, those are the first thing we look for to de-stress after a long day in the car.) As for aviation-specific stores, you'd have to look at a gift shop in an Air and Space Museum or something like that. Otherwise, the bulk of the bookstores around are very general and cover lots of genres/topics in their selection.

                        Seti
Thanks for the tip. Now all I have to do is ask if there are any limitations on how many books I can buy or are there customs to pay for the things I'll buy there.
I can see it now: I'll arrive to USA with 15kg of luggage and leave with 25 kg.
