It is a Paul one of course, though I am working on a DH one and a Carson/Rodney one.

Welcome to all the new people to *waves hello*

JANICE: Dr. Bob, you've given this hospital a bad name.
DR BOB: You're right. Fred is a terrible name for a hospital. I'll give it a better name. How 'bout Eunice?

              *waves* hey all

Just a driveby adorable screencap from Critical Mass, all spoileriness has been carefully cropped/photoshopped out, so you're left with nothing but pure Beckett-y goodness

I'm not. I mean it's ok if people think
                  Spoiler:
that these two are a wonderful couple, and I may be the only person who thinks otherwise, but I simply can't get accustomed to it. I really hoped that there wouldn't be more Cadman after Duet, but then she was mentioned again in Epiphany, and now Critical Mass...
Nothing against JRN, she's cute and may be a wonderful person, I just don't like her character and think she isn't the right woman for Carson.

Sorry guys, this is a bit out of ropic, BUT I found something extremely interesting that might (but really just might) have something to do with where Rodney's and Carson's name came from. I didn't go through all the Beckett pages, so sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I doubt it. Anyway - Erin Chambers, who played "Sora" in Season 1's The Eye has a husband who's name is... Carson McKay. If you don't believe me, check this link out and see for yourselves : [URL]http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0150326/bio[URL]

This might have something to do with the names, but it might also be a colossal coincidence...Phew..

Hehehe, I'd say coincidence but that just makes it all the more cool

Yep, it surely is amazing . Anyway, I've grown fond of Beckett in the time I've been watchin Atlantis so I guess I'd just have to say: "Keep up the good work!".

That's funny. Dr. Rodney McKay made his first SG1 appearance in March 2002 and Erin Chambers (Sora) married Carson McKay in Dec 2002. Dr. Carson Beckett didn't appear on the small screen in Atlantis until 2004. First scene? With Dr. Rodney McKay!

I've recently become a Beckett fan. I mean, I always thought he was a cool character, but since seeing season 1 on dvd, and seeing him in certain episodes, I've come to appreciate him more!

Yeah, I especially liked him in the episode where he falls in love in "Poisoning the well". That was sad as hell.
